Worse is when a person is falling and someone catches them and they are fine. Fall 100 stories, land into someone's arms, no problem.

Food is a scam. "Big food" has convinced you that you need to eat just to sell you food.

Breakfast food is best food. I would totally be a cereal killer in Adventure Time's Breakfast Kingdom.

I think this is an example of movies now all being comedies. For example, the alleged Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves movie is a comedy. The Marvel movies are comedies. We can't have adventure movies any more.

I don't like the idea that some insignificant event has major repercussions, and therefore that event must be changed / preserved. Even in real history, when you look at minor events that caused major changes, there is a broader context. The momentum of history will push things in a certain direction. You can't point to a pebble in a raging river and say that pebble is altering the flow. If event X hadn't lead to the event, then it would have been something else.
Besides that, if you're going to use time travel to solve a problem, then just tell the people what they need to do. Don't be all vague about it.

Keep it up. I hope you have plans for the next stage. Maybe get a license in something?

Yeah, I hate it when fictional cartoons, which are meant for entertainment, have the gall to do something creative. How dare they waste my time.

I'm not memorizing 48 planets.

I wish I could have gone. Did you get any autographs?

I think the imge only worked on my PC. It was the Looney Toons "Eh, it's a possibility."

I think the same thing. There are D&D monsters that drain your strength.

Did it have a light? You should carry emergency gear, like a light, maybe tools, gloves, goggles. Glad you're ok.

as it would evaluate to simply:
food and drink.
I don't think so. I read it as
No food or drink = (no food) or drink
So if I have both food and drink:
no food = false
drink = true

"no food or drink allowed."
Hell, by this statement, I can have both food and drink!

if (!food || !drink)
I think you are incorrect. The above will be true if I have no food or no drink. So I am allowed to have one as long as I don't have the other.

@Splashee I guess Javascript is passive aggressive. I just read another example, "is not an option or convenient." The author meant "not an option and not convenient." It could also have been written "not ( an option or convenient )." Reading English is like solving a mystery! I'm going to take things literally from now on.
At work, the counter in the parts room has a sign that reads: "no food or drink allowed." Therefore I can have a drink, because it is allowed.

Damn, I just now noticed how using ( automatically creates emojis. Fixing that.

We can't change the past. Pi will always be used, electrons will always be negatively charged, and our counting system will always be base 10 (instead of a far superior hexadecimal).

God created woman from man, so man was first. In our language, masculine terms are also gender neutral terms. I don't know if this is true in other languages. But people are smart enough to know that mankind means all people. I think you are making too much of this. Besides, George Carlin did it already.

Where are you? I took a job away from home 6 months ago. I have done that for years. But I need the money, so what can a person do?
