    Money needs to be based on something rare or a valuable resource, like gold or oil. Gems might be rare and useful. The issue is the exchange rate. If it was so easy to find a gem and buy a sandwich, then nopony would ever sell sandwiches for a living. Money is a way of comparing value of different things. I think you are right in that gems are too easy to obtain.

    I did not like the fact that the finale was a flashback. They should have made that 2 episodes. 1 to show Twilight's coronation, and the other should have been a relaxed episode showing life in the future.

    Do you think the entire curriculum is learning friendship? I think it would be like a normal school with only a couple hours per week on friendship. Because math and science are important too.

    I used a pen until it was empty. That is satisfying.

      I've done that a lot, and it is satisfying. But it takes me 1-2 weeks to completely finish one pen.
