Princess Periwinkle's post in Active Posts Count was marked as the answer
@@Concep,
It looks like you've been posting in the Roleplay OOC & Character Discussion section. Post count will not increase in that section, or in Cloudsdale (Forum Games, Forum Lounge, Ask a pony) - it will still show up in your profile, however, which is where I'm assuming the confusion arose.

Princess Periwinkle's post in Prolly a Silly Question but.... was marked as the answer
Hi there, @Eva Darklight! Make sure you don't have the regular roleplay section confused with the Equestrian Empire roleplay section. In the latter, you must follow rules in order to make sure your character fits in with the show canon. In the regular section, anything goes.
As for the age, people generally make the age correspond with human maturity. Ex: 18-22 years old for a pony with the maturity level of a college student. You don't have to do that, you can do anything you want to. Your OC could be 110!
On the other hand, if you would rather roleplay in the Equestrian Empire, let me know and I'll give you more details on that.

Princess Periwinkle's post in help was marked as the answer
As others have said, the only way to get one of your posts deleted is to ask a moderator to do it for you. Please note that you must have a legitimate reason for deletion for the moderator to comply.
You can always edit your posts, however, which is the solution in many cases.

If you just got a new laptop and you're running Internet Explorer, it can be assumed you've got Windows.
The next step is to download a half-way decent browser. Try Firefox or Chrome and see if you can get it to work.

The button should be in the upper right corner.

Princess Periwinkle's post in Topic reply notifications was marked as the answer
I would suggest using the "only when offline" setting, then. While you're online, you can see recently updated threads in the box on the homepage, and when you'll only get notifications when you're offline. That should at least lessen the notification spam, although it won't eliminate it.
Unfortunately, I doubt that IP Board has the capability to do what you're asking which is basically the same as how Facebook does it: One notification per topic, telling you how many people contributed to it.

Hi there , don't worry - we've all been there when we were new!
Click here for a detailed post I made about signatures. The first order of business is you will have to reach the Muffin rank. (Don't worry, it only takes 5 posts!)
Then follow the instructions linked and you should be good to go.

@,
As this was a question and not an introduction, I've moved it to the Site Questions board.
To answer your question, you need five posts. I encourage you to check out this FAQ that lists all the ranks obtainable. Alternatively, you could click on the badge below anyone's avatar to see the list.

@@Amy is shy,
Just to let you know, I've moved your topic to "Site Questions & Tech Support", as it is not suited to the Welcoming Plaza.
Just click on your name, and then "My Settings"
And navigate to "Signature"
If you need more help with inserting an image, keep reading.
Recommended upload host is imgur
Once you upload your image, you should see a page like this (with you own image, of course)
Click on your image, and get a page like this:
Copy the url (should end in .png, .jpg, or similar). Now in your signature settings, click the insert image box:
Paste the url in:

Princess Periwinkle's post in Polls was marked as the answer
You can make up to 10 polls with up to 300 options per poll if I remember correctly.
As you can see, that's plenty more than enough for yours. Do keep in mind that 40 options will take up a lot of space and it will be a pain to scroll through.
