Not to say some of those warnings weren't well-deserved, but the rest? Almost feels like some thin-skinned, possibly vindictive member is following me around and reporting anything I post that's even remotely questionable. I'm probably just reading too deep into it, but I still feel the atmosphere here has grown...less welcoming than it used to be.

My guess is that growth brings anonymity and strong diversity, therefore many people and there opinions strongly seperate instead of actually coexisting.

Perhaps…after all, one does often hear older members speak of "the good old days of MLP Forums" when these boards were thinly populated and, supposedly, the community more intimate. I wasn't around then, but I'm sure there's some truth to that. But that's why I recently joined Everypony Forums - they're not too active, but it's a nice change of pace from the chaos and drama you sometimes encounter here. X)

I think Steve's hilarious, myself. Almost want to check out German Spike just to see how much he sounds like him...

I also can laugh about Steve. But the problem is - maybe you got that wrong - that the same guy is doing Spike, Steve, Timmy and many other characters in German dubs. With almost always the same voice.

I just looked up a clip of German Spike, and...yeah, he sounds pretty generic. Were he doing the extremely high-pitched, nasally voice of Steve, I'd find it highly amusing.

I didn't go into endgame on X that much and I'm right after getting the third badge in Y... This generation is not that exciting, in my opinion. So I started a complete Mass Effect replay instead three days ago... Because I need a reason to not learn for my studies...

The impression is just intensified due to the fact that I'm spending several hours of my days on here and mostly nothing happens and people never reply to PMs. Then again, I don't have that much to talk about and a real, long conversation contains a bit more than just two dozens of lines. But maybe that's just me being anything but sociable and therefore having the wrong expectations and a lack in experience.
