    There should be some kind of a signal dog walkers can give each other from a hundred feet away for "Let's let the dogs meet." :squee:

    My dog loves people(a lot more than me) and dogs but people are always really standoffish and pull their dogs in another direction. My dog is big but not huge and a notoriously friendly breed. He plays with my sister's dog who's smaller than many cats. He just wants tons of friends.

      My dog is so placid but big. That gives people the instinct to pull away because he looks threatening but isn't. :kindness:

      It's not just big dogs. People with dogs just assume they should avoid each other for some reason.
