Awww I clicked this as soon as I saw "Macolm in the Middle" but the video was taken down oof. MITM was such a good series and that theme from TMBG still lives forever in my head.

Huh, it got taken down right when I posted it. Here's another version I couldn't post because it was age restricted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--STz_OByTo

Malcolm in the Middle is the greatest sitcom that's ever existed.

  2. Sounds like you think about what people think of you too much. I know it's hard not to care sometimes but remember that opinions, especially on the internet, are largely trends that come and go. This whole thing of not calling anyone beautiful was pretty much started by people who aren't usually considered beautiful being jealous and ruining it for everybody.

I'd say what you've been hearing is correct vs. what's been copy and pasted online. Out of curiosity I threw it through an AI that can split vocals from the instrumental, and it's a bit easier to hear the lyrics that way. Makes more sense in context too. Aren't these sites kinda wiki-style, where anyone can edit them?

Thanks. :eager: No, I can't find any way to edit them. Not that it's important, just bugs me.

  4. I think American breakfast foods are some of the best foods there are!  I rarely eat them at the assigned breakfast time because I'm a rebel and I don't sleep on a daywalker schedule. And as I understand it eating right when you get up is actually not good for you. I'm not really hungry at that time anyway so I try to wait for a few hours to be less fat.

What grinds my gears with food is the complete deification of coffee and alcohol. It's just assumed that everybody will want them, should want, them, MUST want them! They don't even taste good. People force themselves to like them because everybody else does.

  5. Another thing that grinds my gears is when a character transforms/shrinks/becomes invisible and ninety percent of the time their clothes go with them. When Twilight comes to the EQG world she's wearing clothes she wasn't even wearing in her world! Spike's wearing a dog collar! Does he somehow magically have an up to date dog tag on there too??

I know, I know, it's tv, it's a cartoon, they don't want the characters running around naked. But it just takes me out of it.

  6. They don't bother me. I guess I'd agree with these super short series that are tightly focused on a story arc but I've never seen it in one of those. More episodic shows like Simpsons and Family Guy have more time to fill so they do stuff like that. Simpsons Halloween episodes are my favorite! Oh, and I hate when anime has boring, irrelevant filler arcs. Bleach was notorious for that.

  7. There was a joke about that in Deadpool 2.

Even the word WOman is an extension of man. I don't know the etymology of that, if man meant the species or the male first.

In languages that have gender, like Spanish, the masculine form is also the general form. While Japanese, which is considered pretty patriarchal society, is largely gender neutral. So language is a weird thing.

  8. Same reason so many superheroes can fly. Jut to save time. And so this doesn't happen:

I do have a theory about Elsa. She can modify the dress by suspending ice crystals in the cloth which change the shape and also refract light to change the color. At least in the first movie. In Frozen Fever she was modifying Anna's dress and making flowers float and such weird things.

  9. Yeah, Mandalorian was pretty good.

What they're doing is just mining the older stuff. The  Mandalorian was nostalgia for the original trilogy, Obi-Wan is nostalgia for the prequels,  now Andor is nostalgia for Rogue One.

Maybe some day they'll be desperate enough to scrape the bottom of the barrel with nostalgia for the sequels.

  10. You need the other kind of mermaid with the fish part on top and the lady part on the bottom:

Also, I've recently heard of this 1979 Little Mermaid. Haven't watched it yet but I'm looking forward to it. The animation looks really nice but I know the story is closer to the original fairy tale so it will be sad.

I'll include two versions because the Portuguese looks much better but I can understand the English. When I watch it I'm going to watch the good one and sync up the sound.
