    Shining Armor isn't Celestia's nephew. His wife Cadance is her adopted niece. So now they're related to her by marriage, that's all.

    Just read Pinkie Pie and the Rockin' Ponypalooza Party and their names are indeed Limestone and Marble(no mention of their cutie marks) and her parents are Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz. Also an older sister is mentioned.

    I think they're around the late 19th century with some steampunk exceptions and of course the addition of magic. I really didn't like how the Rainbow Dash micro comic introduced tv to their world.

    Really? NO support for the cuteness?? Okay, I'll just say a few more things: I know there's no frame where their lips actually touch. Like I said, plausible deniability. Look at their expressions frame by frame. As for the context isn't it kind of odd that there was a scene in the middle of a battle that was just the two of them interacting? And there was no real reason for her to pick Fluttershy up like that. She wasn't injured or anything. True but Raimbow Dash isn't especially comfortable with affection. I really doubt she'd kiss friends in a platonic way.

    Yeah Canterlot Wedding Part 2 during the fight scene. Sorry but I hate this hundred characters thing. It should be on youtube. Search for it like Keiichi said.

    The writers and animators aren't the owners of Hasbro. They're probably much more liberal. Lauren Faust and plenty of others associated with the show certainly are.

    Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I usually like to read a book before I see the movie though it usually makes the movie seem crappy.

    Okay, I'm sure this was discussed to death when it aired but I'm new here. So what do you think? I don't see how you can deny that it was a kiss. There was a kiss sound and I think their eyes tell a whole story. Seems like something they slipped in, while still having plausible deniability, to support homosexuality and let kids know it's okay to feel that way. Of course they didn't want it to get too much attention or really change the relationship between the characters. It was just a one time thing.

    So I've been wondering what Celestia and Luna actually do to the sun and moon. This show is actually usually pretty good on the science. We know that the ponies live on a normal looking round planet. And we know a sun doesn't actually "rise" so does celestia spin the planet? (I know "planet spinner" doesn't sound as impressive as "sun goddess".) They also have an awful lot of control over the whole planet for being the rulers of just one country. You'd think the rest of the planet would be scared to have that much power resting with two ponies. When Nightmare Moon was causing eternal night in Equestria she was also baking the other side of the planet.

    I like both but sci-fi is my favorite. I just love outer space. Most fantasy happens on just one planet. There are infinite planets in the universe. Also the level of technology is usually pretty low in fantasy.

    There are different types if immortality. The simplest is not aging. Then there's immunity from disease, then invulnerability or near invulnerability. After that comes actual godhood, where you absolutely can never die. Lately I've been wondering if alicorns really are immortal. Cadence seems to be aging normaly. Luna seems less mature than Celestia. If their ages were 10,000 and 9,993 you wouldn't think there would be a difference. Maybe after the Nightmare Moon incident Luna was trapped in the moon not aging. And maybe Celestia found a way to magically extend her life so she could see her again.

    Yeah I thought it was kind of odd that she was attracted to a weird two legged alien right away. Especially since she was so puzzled by her own body. Anyway I don't know how common interspecies relationships are in Equestria. I watched a video once where the guy pointed out that there aren't even many mixed pony couples (earth/unicorn etc.). But there are mules so we know ponies do occasionally mate with donkeys.

    AJ's made a couple of references to meat. "Trussed up like a turkey" and one other I can't remember. You wouldn't think Fluttershy would eat meat but she fed fish and worms to animals. The worms were alive but somepony must have caught and killed the fish.

    I don't think the writers really want them to talk or they would have by now. They might be immitating a lot of kids cartoons where you never really see or hear the parents.

    To me it came too soon. Twilight becoming a princess should have been the SERIES finale. Maybe with Celestia retiring or something.

    By "moon" I think she's meaning weeks. From new moon to first quarter moon to full moon to last quarter moon back to new moon they're each seven days. That makes sense because you'd think each season is about a year and this episode was near the end of the second season.

    Pinkie's my crush but I think Fluttershy would have the most sex appeal and catch your attention the most(even though she doesn't want to).

    It'll be kind of odd cause I'm used to their pac-man names but I guess the fans can't name every pony. I'm looking forward to this book cause I've wanted an episode that tells more about Pinkie's family.

    Pinkie's my favorite. Secondary characters: Big Mac, Luna, Celestia, Cherilee I'm not much for background characters. Derpy, I guess.

    I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Yeah, it was made just to sell dolls and it was "teenmovieish" but it was pretty funny and it didn't scar MLP for life.

    Yeah, my family knows now. Since I moved I've been displaying a lot of my geek stuff including my ponies. It's not so bad. It usually goes: "You have My Little Ponies?" "Yeah, I like that show." "Oh"

    Really I'm surprised you don't see more like this. Because the show is so popular and fundamentalist types hate anything that has magic in it.

    I hate card collecting cause I can never get a full set but I finally broke down and got some MLP cards. I was wondering if there's a good place to buy/sell/trade them online. Not for profit, just bronies trying to complete their sets and get rid of their doubles.
