  1. I've enjoyed this show but it's wearing pretty thin.

Like you said it has major Superman syndrome. The secret identities are ridiculously obvious.

Like any superhero show where they fight the same villain over and over again you know exactly what's going to happen. They stop him, don't catch him, nothing changes. They need to find a way to move the story forward.

And. of course, the whole will they or won't they thing...

Before I end this entry, I wanted to share this video clip, which I feel absolutely, perfectly sums up myself and the entire adult MLP fandom.  (Sometimes, you gotta learn to laugh at yourself.  )

Just replace the line about finding stupid reasons to breakup with women with finding stupid reasons to get pissed off about episodes, and you've got us.  Lol.

I spent way too much time looking for a video from King of the Hill but failed so I'll just leave the quote:

Dale-Two days ago, you were like a little boy, all excited about the mower show. Now you're this strange man holding a purse. Which is it, Hank? Are you some kind of man? Or are you a little boy?

Hank-I am still a little boy dammit!

  3. Well I didn't read much of the text but I stopped for the picture. :P And I appreciate you using the word "breast".

Cause you know what really grinds my gears? The stupid baby noise women all use for their breasts. No I'm not going to say it, I'm not going to even type it but you know the word I mean. Such a stupid stupid word it's like nails on a chalkboard to me!!! :Cozy:

I'm assuming he wanted the ponies to know that his claim of being a guardian as opposed to a villain was genuine.

A better question would be: What about his plan to cause a centuries-long heatwave back in "Daring Don't"? How does potentially causing irreparable damage to the local ecosystem reconcile with an alleged job title of "guardian"?

Cabaleron put the necklace on, not Ahuizotl. Right after he snatched it that was just the way he was carrying it.

It would have been nice to set this episode back when the CMC's flanks were still blank, and keep their adult selves blank flanked. It would have subtly contributed to the episode's intended message.

Or Scootaloo's aunts, Big Mac, Granny Smith, Pinkie Pie, or any number of other local adults whom they could have asked.

Big Mac was sick but yeah there were a lot of other options. Sweetie Bell just sometimes seems more like an orphan than Scootaloo.
