    Starting to feel if me planning to write MLP Fan Fiction is a lost cause, especially given how late in the series we have gotten. I don't know. How many people think I should write what I've been playing out in my mind? Give me a brohoof or response if I should.

      I think you should. I'm starting up a series right now and personally I don't care if it ends up blossoming into something that exists past the end of the final season. I don't care if the story contradicts the rest of the show; that WILL happen because it diverges from canon between the movie and Season 8, and then jumps 30 years into the future.

      Write what you want to write. At least you can say you finally did it. :)

      Write it! Whether the the show continues past season 9 or not, the fandom will stick around for a long time after FiM ends. It will stick around even longer if G5 turns out to be really good (I think it will!). So don't give up!
