I'd say Rarity except.. her episodes are few and excellent so its hard to say biased. I'll tolerate lesser quality in fanfics with Rarity. For Pinkie I have the opposite problem. She just feels stale to me so often, so I have unfair standards.

They have identical models in show. My headcanon has them all being somewhat differentiated though. Pinkie being chubby (especially considering Faust's opinions on body image), AJ being muscular, and bigger the the other girls, but not at all thin, Twilight being scrawny and a little out of shape, Fluttershy being the tallest, but also waifishly thin (seriously, supermodel without losing weight, in human terms we're talking 5'10 90lbs), Rainbow having around 1% body fat but tall enough to look AJ in the eye, Rarity being the smallest, but still curvy.

So.. liked.. tenthed, on the RD sexuality. She is one of only two, of the mane 6, who has displayed any interest in men. The other being Rarity, of course.

I think this is because is a lot of people's imagination , Alicorns were established as gods. Even though it certainly wasn't said as such in the show. BTW Am I the only one who saw this coming in the First part of Crystal Empire?

Mine is the popular assumption that Celestia is older then Luna by a fair bit, and effectively raised her. For all we know Celestia is all of a minute older, not decades.

My headcanon goes as such for age: Rarity 21 Applejack. 20, AJ 19, Fluttershy,Rainbow 18, Pinkie 17 and Twilight 17. Rarity is the only one really established as an adult, running a business isn't easy. AJ is where I have the most doubt, since she had things thrust upon her by her parents.. abscence. Fluttershy Is on her own, and feels settled enough to have been there for a bit, Id place her quite close to 19. Rainbow is clearly working her first job, one she has no plans to keep long term, and still acts like a teenager. Neither Twilight nor Pinkie feel like they're ready to take care of themselves, with Twilight probably having jumped ahead education wise, and Pinkie being.. Pinkie

The lack of ponies exhibiting partial characteristics implies a simple model. That is assuming that Scootaloo doesn't have vestigial wings, etc. We know that something funny is happening in the genetics, precluding a simple dominant unicorn or pegasus gene. ....Of course it might just all be moot, since Mrs Cake may just have been unfaithful, then easier models become open. This is merely my theory on it, and some jumps had to be made for consistency's sake, but it hard to assume that more complicated genetics exist in the pony population, with the shocking lack of genetic diversity in the population. I mean... a lot of ponies look a lot a like. There is even, as far as I can tell, non related identical twins!

Rainbow Dash certainly does. Rarity is really snarky at times too. (Its always bothered me how much Rainbow seems to dislike Spike)

Was looking.. way to much into a certain episode, where there was some supposed sketchiness in the Cake's ancestry. So I tried to figure it out. Trying to avoid conflicts in the cake family, and from what I observed about in the regular population, from parents, to approximate population numbers of Pegasi, Earth Ponies, and Unicorns, I came up with the following table. Hoping theres no conflicts, my model has approximately an equal population spread among the three kinds of ponies.
