I love Blue Moon, personally. Don't like it out of a bottle, though. It's best when fresh.

But Blue Moon is hardly representative of all beers. Give a dark ale a try, for example.

I'd go opposite, with an American lager like Budweiser as a nice introductory beer. Dark ales could be too bitter and "thick" for a first timer.

I'm not old enough to drink beer anyway xd
