  1. I just found out that My Little Titans updated recently. I'm so excited! I can't wait to read it!

  2. I'm not exactly sure, it's been a joke for a while. I do remember that I kinda liked it, especially the scene with RD and Pinkie in the train-car. The episode where she actually disguises herself as a tree surprised me, although it was hilarious. And I also enjoyed listening to "Avast Fluttershy's Ass". I didn't like the title, but you gotta admit, it's a great song.
  3. I've currently got D's in English 1 and Pre-AP Geometry. If I could get some help with that, it'd be much appreciated. In english, I understand all the vocabulary words (and often use them in common conversation,) but I can't do all the writing, which is the majority of our grade. Like, 70-90%. In Pre-Ap Geometry, I can understand all the numbers, that's all fine and dandy, I just can't remember any of the reasons! The postulates, theorems, and phrases all get mixed up in my head, none of them making sense even if I manage to remember what they're called. I can tell what I have to do next, and how to do it, but I can't name why, or which postulate/theorem/whatever-that-third-thing-is-called allows me to do so. Like I said, any help would be much appreciated, if someone could help me out.
  4. Well, dang it ghostfacekiller39! You explained everything so well, there's no point in me even trying to contribute to the conversation.
  5. Nightmare Night is coming soon. Are you excited?

  6. Their/They're You're/Your Too/To Waist/Waste (It's a really disturbing mix up.) Four (You'd be surprised.) Is not (Never ain't. NEVER ain't.) Not to mention double negatives being used in place of a single negative. It's like math; two negatives multiplied make a positive, not a negative. Because Then/Than Tonight People (It's not peoples! "People" is plural, and "People's" is possessive!) Library (*Hits face on desk* Need I even touch on this subject?) I'd even read someone write "serprised" yesterday. Just..... *sigh*.... just, no. Don't get me started on present/past tenses. I will seriously sit there and correct published textbooks. I like to read fanfiction, (fimfiction.net among them,) and sometimes it is physically painful. Not to mention when people just tack "er" to the end of literally every word. "Ginormouser" is seriously something I've heard some of my classmates say. Although I will point out, what is the purpose of flammable/inflammable? If the opposite of flammable is non-flammable, why do you even have an inflammable if it means the same thing as flammable? The prefix "in" is used to add the meaning not, lacking, or the opposite of, so why doesn't it work the same on "inflammable" as it does on "incomplete?"
  7. *Looks at first two characters* Must try for Emi! This is the best pony I've ever seen! I can totally do that, she's so like me! So, those are the three lines I need to do? (Note to self : buy batteries for voice recorder.)
  8. In a word? Yes. I actually hate being scared in all forms, horror movies especially. I have no idea why someone would miss nightmares. I still freak out remembering a nightmare I had two months ago. God, I hate the ones where you die, and then dream you wake up and die, and then wake up for real. It makes me want to scream! And not in the good way. The I-am-so-angry-right-now-walk-away-slowly-if-you-want-to-live scream.
  9. What a coincidence! I just paused Borderlands 2 to check my email and take brownies out of the oven. I'm at the part where I just blew up the bar's liquor supply, then went inside to convince the owner of the bar that it was someone else, and to hire me to get back at them. Wow, I just realized how wrong that is....
  10. Technically, I am a girl, so therefore the whole 'girly' thing shouldn't be surprising. However, I usually just hang around and read or play video games, so I don't actually do much girly stuff. In fact, my favorite color is blue. Although, every once in a while, I will do some girly stuff. I do it all at once, so one day I'll act tomboyish like every other day, then BAM three solid days of shopping, high-heels, skirts, and nail-polish. Then, the polish chips off and I go back to normal. However, there are some 'girly' things I do that all those make-up wearing cheerleaders at my school probably don't. Watch ponies, for one. Another is stuffed animals. I'm obsessed. They take up more space in my room than I do. There's my bed, a teeny tiny walk way, my closet, and then the rest is stuffed animals. Shelves and shelves of them. But I love them all. My newest goal is to get a MLP plushie before graduating high-school. Well, my other goal is to get a minimum of a B in every class this year, but that's beside the point. I see nothing wrong with that. Except this reminds me of the guy in my musical theater class who puts mascara on his beard.... that's just creepy. His emergency touch-up kit is easily double - if not triple - all my make-up combined!
  11. I saw this picture one day, just absently browsing through deviantart. I saw it and thought "WOW." Looking back, it's not all that, but at that moment I was mystified. It was amazing. I saw the girl in the picture, and I thought, THAT'S who I want to be. The person who I see when I look into the future and imagine what I want to be like. To some people it might just look like a picture of a girl with weird hair, but to me it meant something; symbolized something. And it still does. So, I use it as my avatar as a way of encouragement. Like, maybe if I use it to signify myself, maybe if I get used to seeing myself as that, then maybe, just maybe one day I can look at myself and feel as great and special as she does in my mind. So, that's my super insane and creepy story. But, I kind of don't mind. Because when I'm positive, I can't help but think 'maybe this will work.'
  12. When I was born, my mom was going to call me Melody. Which would have been awesome, because it's such a beautiful name and music is such an important part of my life. However, last minute, my dad convinced her to give me a completely different name so that I'd have the same initials as my brother. ( For years he played tricks on us, giving us identical gifts, saying if we put our initials on them, we'll know who's is who's because they were supposed to represent different names. Jerk.) I honestly feel neutral about my given first name, but can't stand my middle name. I want to change it legally, but it costs a lot of money, and I'm not sure how my mom would feel if I did that. So I'm going to go on a trial tun, trying out the name Melody before deciding whether or not to actually change it.
  13. I started school on Thursday. It would have been fine, if my teachers hadn't assigned so much homework the first two days. I'm about to do some more. I just have a test and a project left to do before tomorrow.
  14. 3:39 - 4:19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U0QDt8wiCs I don't know how to put the youtube video in the post... (extra characters for minimum requirement..... jdeuhfurhuvurhhff.)
  15. School starts soon! Now if they would just let me get my schedule...

  16. I have to admit, at first I hated the thought of twilicorn. But now, even though I have no idea when it happened, I'm okay with it. As for changing my thoughts about how I liked a character, not much has changed for me. I pretty much see them as the same characters as before. I love how Rarity is more expressive in the movie. Apple Jack has more of a tough side. Rainbow Dash's character finally gets to show that she's a little deeper than she's normally portrayed. Pinkie shows that while she does love to laugh, friendship is really important to her. Twilight shows a little more of her insecurities and how she works to overcome them. They all show in one way or another that they're all willing to stick up for one another, like real friends should. Or, at least, that's how I saw it.
  17. Step one : dunk slightly in milk just enough to taste it, but not make the cookie all soggy Step two : eat cookie Step three : repeat steps one and two as needed. Voila.
  18. I've only met my best friend's parents once. They weren't mean, but I could sense they didn't like me. I was right, they don't. Although I have no clue why, I was polite and just stood on the curb waiting for my parents to come pick me up.
  19. Broseph : The piece we're working on currently we were thinking could use some acoustic. Can you record with your equipment? If not, I'm sure we can figure something out. I'll ask my friend if she can send me the file of what we have so far. We're not exactly sure how the instrumentals should sound, so we're open to anything you can come up with. Akalink : My friend actually has her heart set on mixing it, maybe the drums though. I don't know, I'll have to get back to her. Like I said, we haven't gotten the instrumental sound set yet, so it could go in a variety of directions. I'll see if I can get a copy of the best take we did, and maybe figure out a way to put it up online.
  20. I've been trying to finally put some of my music out there. My friend and I decided to start making some lyrics (and using some we've already written) and try and record them. We've already got a few ready to go, and have started recording the vocals, but we ran into a problem. Neither of us can play an instrument very well. I was wondering if anyone was willing to help us out with that. We haven't worked out the pieces yet, (what you'd have to play) so you'd have to be willing to collaborate on that. So, if anyone can play guitar, maybe someone who can play piano, I think that we'd be set for now. If you would like to help out and maybe don't play the requested instruments, go ahead and let us know what instrument you do play, and we might ask for some help later on. Does that sound okay?
  21. My favorite is "Helping Twilight Win the Crown". But, hey, the into is awesome too! I was surprised that they changed it up, but it's pretty good.
  22. It's my Birthday. How awesome is that? Now I just need something to do about it.

  23. When I read a book, and a character says something, I imagine it in what I think the character's voice should sound like. While anything else is in a voice that's what I think my voice should sound like.
  24. I saw a trading card packet box thing, (the box in the store that holds the packets of trading cards that are for sale?) at the dollar store ONCE. I rushed over to it, and went through the entire box. There was not one single MLP packet left. They reused the box for Disney princess cards.
  25. My brother's catchphrase is "No-one tells me these things!" Although, we do tell him. The problem is he doesn't listen. Lately I've been saying "That's nice." I say it whenever someone tells me something useless or irrelevant. (So, just about every single thing my sister says.) I'm not going to be mean, but I'm not going to pretend that it helps. Anybody watch Now You See Me? It was in theaters recently (where I live) and it was awesome. Shame it wasn't in 3D though. Anyway, in part of the movie, the main characters are trying to come up with an idea. I'm not going to spoil it, but the part I'm talking about was in the trailer. So, they're trying to think of something, and one of them goes "Hang on... Hang on..... I've got nothing." So another person just looks at him and says "Okay, thank you. Thank you for the delay." I thought it was hilarious. Also, I have learned that it is fun to scream "Alphabetical Moon Frisbees!" at random moments. I have no idea where I got that phrase, but it stuck. Although for some reason, I'm now wondering what games Luna came up with to pass the time while she was on the moon. I'm also wondering if playing with moon frisbees would be painful... the moon is a rock, after all.
