      This is true, but motivation and inspiration can only get you so far if you're never truly satisfied with your works. An oil lamp will burn out quickly if the wick isn't properly soaked.

      All I know is I'd be less satisfied if I never tried. And the odd thing is is that I temporarily feel satisfaction when I am in the process, when the work is incomplete. Yet then I look upon it once it is 'done' and feel the need to try again the next day.

      It's not odd to feel satisfaction during the process, I know I feel it myself.
