      Moreover, advances in computing, material, and biotechnology are all applicable to developments in space and beyond. In addition, these same technologies can be applied to life on Earth, for medical, engineering, and recreational purposes. I also highly recommend looking into the transhumanist movement, as well. You seem like you'd be very interested!

      @Tender Voice: That is also a good point. It is definitely something that needs to be worked on. For all of science's worth, understanding of ourselves (through the humanities) is just as important.

      Well, not just through science. At least that's my point of view. If studying sociology and social psychology has taught me one thing, it is that many things we do are contradictory what's the best for ourselves. And they increase, even though our progress is just natural, hence a consequence of evolution, as well.
