      I don't like steam that much. Many games on steam require the program so when steam stops working you can't play the game.

       

      If steam were to allow this it would be grand.

      pirated copy's of the game don't have that problem XD i think it's okay to pirate a copy to run without steam if you also bought it on steam. just put some save games from your steam one in the pirated one and it should be good to go :)
