It's been a while since I uploaded some of my scrap here and this time it will be something big

Some time ago I've been requested by Bronies of Las Vegas group to make a picture for them with their OC on in the LV panoramy.

My goal was to make it as magical as possible and I must say that the final effect exceeded my expectations.

It's been a while since I was drawing anything in manga style so decided to do a couple of pictures.

For now I have done a quite hot hitchhiking Applejack and currently working on Brave Wing running at the beach. Judging from his expression it's not easy for him since he's right leg is handicapped since his childhood and keeping it in good form causes a lot of pain, but don't worry, as a pilot Brave Wing is very determined

I am working on a personal project which is a head-canon to on going fanfiction by SPIDIvonMARDER - "Crystal Siege"

The project contain Equestrian Fighter Divisions concepts on post war machines like F-14 Tomcat, F-20 Tigershark, F-15 Eagle and F-111.

For now I am working on NAVY divisions for F-14 multi role fighters and already have 2 accomplished which are strongly based on straight MLP canon characters and motives and on the Crystal Siege story.

More jets will come soon.

Hi once more everypony!

I just came back from Middle Equestrian Convention in Warsaw. It was awesome to meet our polish voice actresses for Pinkie Pie and Princess Luna and being asked by Kora Kosicka for an autograph .

One of the greatest parts of the convention was drawing with all bronies in my artroom and talk about an oc I would like to show you.

Her name is Forgetmenot, she's Brave Wing's mother and a florist.

People just fell in love with her so much that I ended up drawing 3 fast traditionals during one day, only about her and her son

Forgetmenot in her 20's. Brave Wing was not born yet

A working mom. When Brave Wing was born, Forgetmenot got back to her job very fast and her baby son was always assisting her in the glass house and shop

Even when Brave Wing became a grown up stallion with is own job and responsibilities, he is always eager to spend some time with his mom.

Both of these look awesome, I must praise you for a job really well done! I especially like the snorkeling picture, exploring seas is so interesting. I also think that you have definitely improved between the two pieces as well.

I absolutely LOVE your underwater effects. The lighting looks so natural. It really gives it that authentic look of a beautiful underwater environment.

It was a big challenge since I never did an underwater picture before and wanted it to look authentic

Ok I just made one of 2 gift pictures I was requested to do for the Middle Equestrian Convention and after those 4 and a half days of work I'm so exhausted that I can barely keep myself awake XD

Luna's polish voice actress adores snorkeling and photography, that's why I decided to make a picture in such mood.

Luna's first day off was made by me in 2014 when she went for some ice cream.

Hello everyone

So...

The hype train is rolling so I decided to start working on some epic Battlefield 1 pony picture

Ok... the real reason is that I got pissed by my friends drawing tons of Ponywatch pictures so I decided to do something different (jokin')

They should be launching the staff applications soon as well, so maybe try that route if you haven't heard anything by then.

 

You in a position to vend there? I know that prints of your art would be in demand due to their high quality.

Not sure. Should a vendor be present on the convention?

Sadly going to USA is way out of reach for me. I tried setting an indiegogo campaign once to get funds for attending the EFNW. I wanted to cover the visa, air ticket, food and accomodation. I was hoping for a success but the campaign failed. I needed 3500$ in total but I managed to get only 1000$.

From that moment I forgot about this dream and didn't try setting another campaign since I doubt I would make it this time.

Thanks guys There is no reply so far to my e-mail but I am a patient guy and understand they may simply not have time to check the mail or answer. 

I am always eager to help so if someday they reply, I'll be happy

Hello everyone!

I'd like to introduce you to my project I'm working on since the beginning of May.

It is called "Equestria Rearmed" and is intending to present Equestria as a country protected not only by the magic of friendship and royal guards, but also by a regular army, navy and airforce.

The first project in this series is one of 2 equestrian Canterlot II battleships:

BB-77 Golden Hour and BB-88 Song of Evening.

Armament:

4x, 3x 460mm main battery
18x 15mm Phalanx AA turrets
10x, 2x 150mm secondary Mark II guns

I decided to make a full picture of Song of Evening entering the Manehattan Bay based on the sketch I made by 1st of May:

Allow me to explain but before that I am sorry I am writing it here.

I was not sure if I should put it here or in the vendors/artists section so if anybody thinks this is a wrong place, please accept my apologies and move the topic if you wish.

Now let's get to it.

Those who know me, knows that I love doing art.

Those who don't know me, hello I'm Ruhisu and I love doing art

I hope now that what what I'm about to write won't sound too odd

I always enjoyed supporting great initiatives and been always dreaming about attending a big convention abroad, however traveling to USA or Canada from Poland is far too impossible for my wallet, I decided to support people as best as I can, that's why I want to offer my help to BABScon as one of the greatest conventions I know.

You may find it funny that suddenly some random guy offers his support but I just enjoy making people happy so... it's just me

So if someday you need some art stuff to be done, just let you know that I am always eager to draw anything for people (except NSFW stuff etc. but it's obvious XD).

To make my point valid somehow I would like to share some examples of my work with you.

I love drawing cities and skylines and I know how important it is to promote not only a particular initiative itself but the city/ town where it takes place as well so if you need some stuff connected with drawing a city or any architectural stuff, it's not a problem for me.

For instance right now I am working on a picture requested by Bronies Las Vegas. It is only a preview sketch of course for now but the overall picture will be very detailed and bright just like Las Vegas should be:

Here you can see how I tried to make a romantic Manehattan at night.

That's how I tried to promote my Indiegogo campaing to gather funds for visiting Everfree Northwest 2014. It's a bit old now but it shows that I can make technical stuff without any problems if you need some.

My current drawings are of course very improved in comparison to these 2014 and 2015 drawings. I am trying to improve all the time and make my style as flexible as possible allowing me to focus on many motives.

I was also supporting the first Polish local big ivitiative "Vistulian" in 2015 and right now I am supporting "Middle Equestrian Convention" which will be held in Warsaw this summer.

Let me tell you a story of an awesome picture

A long time ago I made this sketch for Princess-Moonlight as a preview of the commission I needed to accomplish:

4 days ago I started working on the digital form of this commission but I decided to leave my traditional methods of colouring and shading and to try something new.

I have been playing with a hard cel-shading inspired by how many comic books look like and by my favourite anime movie "Redline" which is taking it's shading from many Marvel like works. I thought "Hey! This looks pretty awesome in black and white, let's add colours and try this style out"

I continued working on this commission not only as a thing that should satisfy my customer but it was also my personal milestone which set a new trend in my style "Comic ART" and was another level up for me

The result is better then I expected, after 4 days of hard work I literally didn't feel my brain but I came up with one of the most awesome pictures from my portfolio.

That is lovely! I really like the anime style you depicted them in. Silver Spoon looks like a character that could be in "Ramna 1/2"

I forgot to publish an update here. I also made Diamond Tiara and I am currently woking on another Silver Spoon drawing but with her hair let down

There is only a perspective issue with Diamond's hands making them look too short but I will correct them while making the digital form.
