  1. If you really used "in Celestia's name", then... well, it's not wrong, but I can't respect randomly peppering your language with fandom-specific phrases outside of a gathering of that fandom. Especially when confronted by someone trying to insult you for it. Furthermore... you went home and some guys went up to you and correctly located you? That's a small town, there. Also, a LOT worse than mere disrespect. What kind of weirdo has his friends hassle a person for so little? ...Wait, why was random guy in the girls section?
  2. Not sure who came up with it first, but both "Sweetie Drops" and "Bon Bon" have been used by various mechandise - Sweetie Drops is an appropriately coloured and marked clear minature, and Bon Bon was used in the smartphone game - but the series itself has never used her name. Similarly, Lyra and Octavia have both been used in merchandise before.
  3. Depends on the sort of merchandise. I can't take anything with brushable hair seriously - inaccurate hairstyles just make it worse - and I have no care for logo/emblem/memetic t-shirts. On the other hand... I have, like, 40 minatures. Not that anyone knows that, I just like having them.
  4. Odd. There seems to be a tiny colour variation, but it might just be the light. Otherwise, 1 and 2 come with different card designs, but there's still some *crazy* prices, there. I have NO IDEA why Series 5 is so expensive. Are they that rare?
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't list the New Fluttershy pack, either... On the other hand, a bunch of other stuff that I hadn't heard about! On a side note, Royal Surprise Set... includes unicorn Twilight. *facepalm*
  6. I'm not in America. While not as limited as you are, I don't have quite that many options - there has literally only been one wave of Blind Bags available here, and some of the boxed minatures. And, no, there are no 3-packs with Fluttershy in them (yet), nor does that Blind Bag wave have Fluttershy as an option, assuming that it's even on the shelf should I look. Like you, I would need to utilise the internet to find a normal Fluttershy figurine.
  7. Don't go to 4Chan! Your illusions will be shattered like glass! Now that you point it out, the proportions are a bit different... However, when comparing them to the animation, I don't think it's that Fluttershy looks thin, so much as the figurine ponies tend to look a bit fatter around the legs. I'm not sure if this a trend or not, but some of the other newer designs are doing the same thing - the Wonderbolts and Lotus Blossom, specifically - seem to have a thinner leg structure. And, frankly, I just can't take pink-haired Rainbow Dash seriously.
  8. Wait, I'm confused. You want to buy a bag with Twilight Sparkle on it. You also don't want to let your parents know. How, exactly, do you plan to have a book bag, then not show it to anyone? The chances of being found out are so incredibly high, especially if you use it for it's intended purpose, that they will still make your life unfortunate, whether you tell them or not. Work on the assumption that if you have the bag, they will find out. That's the reasonable idea.
  9. I'm referring to the shape of the unpainted plastic. ("Mould" is an alternative spelling.) The original Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash figurines use the same mold, which is to say that they are produced by the same machine, then painted. New Fluttershy uses a mold that actually looks like Fluttershy. Here's the preview: http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/496/222/fbd.jpg
  10. As you've noted, the currently-released Fluttershy figurine/mini-figure is a colour variant of the Rainbow Dash figurine. This is a travesty. Thankfully, a yet-to-be-released pack of figurines (more expensive than Blind Bags, but many of them have unique moldings) includes a new and unique Fluttershy molding. We've seen the prototype, but it's not in stores, yet. You may be better off waiting a little while, then getting that. Alternatively, there's a pack with a book with the 12 most central characters to the series (Mane 6, CMCs, Spike, Cadence, Celestia) and the included Fluttershy seems to be the same as the new mold... but I have no idea how to get it outside of my own local shop - I can't find an online listing that isn't on eBay, and isn't incredibly expensive. More to the direct point of this topic, I only have the clear and glitter versions, and have no duplicates.
  11. Or am I just blind? Popped down to Big W (In Australia), and noticed a $10 MLP book, with a bunch of MLP mini-Figurines (the blind bag sort). The cover had the mane 6, with the CMCs in the foreground. 12 figurines, I think... including Celestia, Spike, the new Fluttershy mold (as if there was ever any other...), and I'm not sure what else, but at least one of the CMCs, and probably the rest of the mane 6. For $10! I paid that much just to get Celestia! I feel like a shmuck! As you can guess, I didn't have the oppurtunity to buy it, so I don't exactly have proof if it's new, or if I've simply never heard of it. Oh, wait, here it is: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/My-Little-Pony-Friendship-is-Magic-My-Busy-Book-with-12-mini-figurines-New-/281112307607?pt=TV_Movie_Character_Toys_US&hash=item4173996797 Even so, it was definitely $10 at the store, so what is up with that price? In any case, are any of these unique? I have at least 2/3rds of them from sets or blind bags, and the new Fluttershy is in the new set, but $10 is a good price for the two other CMCs and Spike, alone.
