      I think that Richard is expecting Paul and Menard's to leave after this year (Paul only had a one-year contract this year), so Richard is downgrading because he's not getting anymore Menard's money after this year (presumably)

      Plus, I heard that a lot of Menard's money is going to the #3 car rather than the #27.

      Also, remember that Paul and Austin didn't get along too well lol XD
