  1. Holy shit this is turning into Brave New World. I would never want to live forever. Besides, wouldn't the Earth become over populated eventually?
  2. Are you shitting me, technology like this is actually being made. Yes I'm not always satisfied with my own life, but I don't want to live in a sugar coated lie either. As much fun as it'd be to hang out with ponies, I'd feel like I was running away from my problems instead of eliminating them.
  3. I haven't tried to turn anyone I know into a brony. I recommend the show to them and leave it at that. If I tried to convert them I'd sound like a rabid fanboy you see on YouTube comments
  4. Look I could go on for days about this movie but my biggest gripe against it is the fact that the show goes against girly stereotypes, meanwhile the movie embraces them
  5. So buttons. If Hasbro wanted to give us a good quality film, it would've had good pacing. A believable villain, varied designs in the clothing, varied musical styles, a longer runtime, and most of all, less clichés
  6. As some of you know by now, I hate this movie more than Where The Wild Things Are, and I really hated that movie. One of the biggest reasons I hated Equestria Girls was because of the following statement; It pandered to the bronies way too much! Seriously, Scootaloo chicken dance, incredibly forced Trixie scene that had no place whatsoever, and a Derpy cameo. The problem I had with these, is that to me they feel like a sorry excuse to make something that was doomed from the start better.
  7. More than enough little girls will beg their parents to take them to it so I'm pretty sure that the movie will be very succesful
  8. Thank god someone agrees with me about this movie.
  9. If their avatar is a character, I read their posts in that characters voice. So for all I know you're reading my posts in a cockatrice's voice. Wonder what that sounds like
  10. It's inevitable at this point, with the fandom getting as much attention as it does. If they did make a MLP episode though I'd have a feeling it would be a lot like this http://pony-berserker.deviantart.com/art/Stan-Writes-A-Letter-To-Princess-Celestia-345491476
  11. One interesting documentary I can think of is The War On Kids, it's about the state of the American education system. I couldn't find it on You Tube though
  12. No, I would play dress up with them if they provided different KINDS of outfits for the dolls. Twilight. School uniform Rarity. Something fancy but not too over the top. Fluttershy. A long dress Rainbow Dash. Something sporty Pinkie Pie. Something colorful and exotic Applejack. Something cow girlish Sunset Shimmer. Actually the outfit she had in the movie was fine
  13. 1. I expect them not to look like zombie clown prostitutes. 2. I feel like their sending a bad message to 6 year old girls 3. I would play dress-up with them if they had clothes that weren't corsets and hooker boots. Before you ask, yes I have seen the movie and I hated it with every fiber of my being.
  14. Those dolls make anorexic people look thin. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be Bratz dolls palette swapped
  15. Yup, sounds just about as pretentious as every other article I've read about someone p's life being changed because if a cartoon.
  16. I think that Urban Dictionary is way worse when it comes to bronies, especially considering that you can get something like "Bronies lick each others balls LOL" printed on a t-shirt
  17. Flufflepuff! Although any pony would be fine otherwise. Pinkie Pie looks like she would have a soft mane, so does Fluttershy. Here's a picture of Flufflepuff for those who don't know who she is. http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Fluffle-Puff-Wallpaper-378235076
  18. I saw equestria girls and whole heartedly regret it

    1. repsol rave

      repsol rave

      was it that bad?

    2. longgone

      longgone

Lots of other members say it was awesome....apparently it's mixed feelings O_O

    3. Sir.Flutter Hooves

      Sir.Flutter Hooves

      It's an awesome film.

  19. I hated every second of this horrendous movie. It was beyond cliched, I wanted to eviscerate Sunset Shimmer anytime I saw her, and the romance was horribly forced. It took everything I loved about the show and ignored it. But what really pissed me off is that probably the one chance Friendship is Magic gets at a movie, we get this over-hyped excuse for a flick This video sums up my feelings on the movie http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eKc7f0k_g9w
  20. I thought she was a bland, underdeveloped, and most of all, cliche character. What the movie really needed was a flashback scene where you saw some interaction between her and Celestia. Than we could of gotten a closer look at her morals and personality before she entered the human world
  21. I don't really have favorite games of all time. I have favorite games at the moment. My favorite game at the moment would be Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Although I'm trying to only play a little bit a day so I don't beat it all at once
  22. To prove that this will not happen, think about the last time there was a massacre at a furry convention. Oh, that's right, there never was! There's no point in worrying about it.
  23. Surprised this topic didn't get popular! 1. I like how easy it is to make friends here 2. I like how much content this community produces, making it easy to find something fun to do while waiting for new episodes 3. I like that bronies support charities 4. I like how you can find someone to watch the show with on a live stream 5. I like how we challenge social norms
  24. Am I the only one out there who doesn't think that haters are bronies in denial? I would think that idea comes from the fact that some homophobic people are gay themselves and insecure about it, but liking other men in a society that favors heterosexual individuals is a much bigger deal than liking a cartoon for a younger audience. While I can definitely understand a hater turning into a brony after giving the show a chance, the concept of someone pretending to hate a show because they're insecure about liking it is absurd. I think The Brony Chronicles did I it best by saying that haters hate because we live in a culture that defines masculinity as hating things targeted towards girls.
  25. I friggin' love Spongebob, one of my favorite shows growing up. Obviously the new ones suck ass though. I can't think of a time when I heard a brony hate on Spongebob, so I don't know where you're coming from
