So, I'm looking at your posts and you guys have such nice cars and motorbikes! As form me, the only time I tried to drive a motor scooter (50 cc, 3 cubic inches), I hit a trash bin at the incredible speed of 10 km/h (6 mph). The only thing damaged in that crash was my self-esteem... Apart from that, I do have a car. It's a grey 2005 FIAT Panda 4WD, 1250 cc (76 cubic inches), straight-4 petrol engine. Those are not the actual photos of my car, but it's just like that. Yeah, I know that maybe this thread was made for hot rods, supercars and what not, but I just wanted to tell you that I'm pretty happy with this 3.500 € (4.600 US$) baby which can't go faster than 130 Km/h (81 mph). Oh, and it can make up to 15 km/l (35 mpg)...

Riding the Storm So, after 5 months of hard work, me and a fellow brony (who is from the U.S.A., so a native English speaker) finally managed to translate this fanfiction from Italian to English. The story is about self examination and the true meaning of Friendship. The main characters are Rainbow Dash and an OC, named Icarus, who could be described as the polar opposite of the mane six: stubborn, rude, a meanie... Oh, and he's a pegasus who cannot fly. The author is Lantheros, and the other translator is ALittlePwning. I know, every link is to an Italian MLP forum (except for the story link) but don't be scared, we don't bite Oh, and we also have tons of fanarts for this fanfic, like the cover (drawn by Azzu-nyan), for instance...here you'll find other fanarts (yes, we've got a forum just for this fanfiction XD ). It also has a sequel (temporarily named The Last Flight), which is on its way to be translated, plus 4 spin offs yet to be translated. Well, for now that's it!

From "ding", like to hit something, right? Yeah, maybe it could work, but I really would like a pun about a real turn. Or, if it's too hard to find one, maybe there could be used the name of a racing speedway. Thoughts?

Honestly, I'm surprised that you know the Autodromo di Monza (F1 fan?). Anyway, thank you for your suggestion, but I don't think it could work, since in the story it is also explained the reason for that name. For clarity sake, let me copy/paste that part: I know, maybe not everyone would get the innuendo, but I'm too paranoic to leave a chance.

Hi everypony, I'm currently translating a fanfic from Italian to English (with permission given, obviously), but I'm stuck trying to create a pun. Let me explain better: Rainbow Dash is racing on a pegasi speedway. This track has a turn very hard to take, and unexperienced pegasi would take that turn too fast, leading them to lose control and hit the guardrail so hard that they would pass out. I would like to create a pun between "going K.O." or something related, and the name of a turn taken from a real life speedway (the more famous the turn is, the better the pun would be). Initially I thought about the "Corkscrew" turn at Laguna Seca, CA, thus I called it "Knockscrew". I thought it was clever and funny until my co-translator (which is from the U.S.), told me that that name could be misinterpreted, since "Knock up" and "To screw" both have a dirty meaning in US english slang (those meanings are explicit and highly NSFW, so I won't explain them here). I would had never thought such thing reading that name, but I trust him and I want to avoid every possible innuendo. My question is: would you please help me to build such pun? Thank you very much!

Howdy everypony! I'm yet another fan of MLP:FiM who joined the herd. I started watching MLP a few months ago, curious about all the pony related stuff on the internet. The first episode I've seen was "Luna Eclipsed", and then... well, I've simply realized that it's just awesome I couldn't help myself and I've watched all the episodes in, like, one week. As you can guess from the title, I'm from Italy. What can I say about me? My favorite pony is Pinkie Pie and my favorite episode is "Magical Mistery Cure" (please, don't bite me!). Also, I've written a fanfic (in Italian, though...), and I'm currently translating another fanfic from Italian to English. I don't know what else to say, so... Brohoof!
