  1. It was alllllll staaaaaaged ;).

  2. I sided with Walter the first time I played the game, and ended up in the Chaos Route as well. I remember siding with Walter because I was shocked at Law's whole "lol let's kill everyone who doesn't agree with us", but in the end Chaos pretty much follows the same ideal. If we're weighing the pros and cons of Chaos and Law, I'd say Law is superior because it provides actual stability, peace, and equality. Yeah, I've gone through the Alternate Tokyos already. I really enjoyed them as well, and their overworld tracks are one of my most favorite tracks of any game. They fit perfectly with their environment and make you feel the emotions of the people you're working with. The Blasted Tokyo theme feels barren and hopeless, oppressed by the hardships of the demons, desert, and poison. The Infernal Tokyo theme surprised me because it wasn't the chaotic melody I was expecting, it was melancholy and slow. It gave you a feeling of sadness and frustration, the same things Akira and his guys felt because of their overall weakness and inability to gain respect from any of the other demonoid groups. This theme is my favorite out of all the overworld themes, and I listen to it frequently. I know you've got to fight the Chaos and Law bosses, and like you said, they shouldn't be too difficult by the time I'm done with all the Hunter Quests. Do you know if I get access to the Law and Chaos specific demons though? For example, if you go Chaos, you get to fuse Vile Demiurge, and if you go Law, you get to fuse Herald Seraph. Beelzebub is a difficult boss to be sure. I'm pretty sure the reason you never got past him was because he's resistant against Physical. Obviously that'll give your guy some trouble. I fought and beat him once before, but I don't remember the details of the fight. Does he still have Death Flies? Death Flies was just completely fricking broken and unfair in Nocturne ;-;...
  3. Well, after some more time playing the game I finally made it to the Alignment Lock in the Monochrome Forest. Funnily enough I got Neutral, but to be honest I did start gearing a lot of my choices to balance out the Chaos/Law points (I chose to side with Johnathan). The choices I made were still made as if I were in that situation though, but I think the only thing that made a huge difference was when the White asked me if I would Preserve or Destroy. I should have chosen Preservation, but I chose Destruction instead because I wanted to see what would happen. I would have just shut off the game to choose Preservation, but once I saw that I was on the Neutral route I just went with it since it's the only ending I've never gotten (White Ending excluded, I seriously hate that ending and have concluded its the "path" Navarre is supposed to stand for). You said Neutral route is difficult huh? Can you elaborate more? I know you said I have to do EVERY sidequest, but how many of those are there, and are they actually significant? Because if I find out I'm supposed to do every delivery quest and find every random quest given to you by demons, I think I'll go ahead and find somehow to screw the rules to destroy the Yamato Reactor afterall -_-... I think I'll be fine as far as difficulty goes. I'm not too far away from having all my stats at 100 (after which I'll invest all other points into Magic), and my skills and demons' skills all have the potential to heavily exploit a weakness since we all have the 4 elemental attacks. Boss fights have been easy as all hell because of that, even Kenji went down without much effort and I distinctly remember him being one of those bosses that gave me trouble the first time around. I've double checked the difficulty several times to make sure I wasn't playing on Fellow (Easy) mode, but it's been on Prentice since the beginning. I should be ready to face the DLC bosses, but fusing them is a different story. I'm Level 61 right now, but I remember most of them being around Level 90 and above at their base levels. I've looked into Devil Survivor, and it seems alright. I don't know which specific game to get though, so which do you recommend?
  4. Yeah, it's gotten a lot easier now that I'm around... early midgame I'd say? My guess is probably off, but I'm right at the entrance of Kagome Tower (which by the way has a kickass theme I can relax to). I know I still have a long way to go before I'm anywhere close to the endgame. Once I'm at that part I'm going to be taking on the DLC demons: The Archangels, Sanat Kumara, and the Ancient of Days. I'd include Masakados, but I'm pretty sure you have to get the Neutral Route to try his quest. I'm not gunning for any particular alignment, I'm simply making the choices based on what I would do if I were in that situation. IV was my intro the SMT franchise, but even then I could tell it was a unique series. Many of the messages it conveys are admittedly questionable to me, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the series and even forcing recommending others to try it out. Since we're talking about IV, I'll say it has great characters and a great story that develops according to your moral choices. The choices thing is what made me love the game so much because it really makes you feel involved with everything in its world. As for the stats for my Flynn, I'm keeping most of them balanced for the time being. I think I'll be putting all of them to 100, then choose Magic and either Agility or Luck to concentrate on for the rest of the game. I might just keep all of them equal throughout though. I never really pick out specific demons, I just form my team based on what I have available to fuse and what I think looks cool . For now at least, I won't be doing the DLC quests for nothing after all xD! Magic is OP? Demifiend would like a word with you btw.
  5. I've started replaying Shin Megami Tensei IV. It's a really fun game I got about two years ago for Christmas, but man is it hard. I even remember reading some random article about this being one of those games that forces you to humiliate yourself by lowering the difficulty. Regardless, I'd still recommend this game to anyone looking for a good RPG. I occasionally play FNAF 4, but I'm still too scared to play it continuously like I did the others ;~;...
  6. @@Jellal Fernandes Ammit watched through the shabti's eyes as it underwent the ritual in his stead. He silently mocked the whole ordeal, laughing at the gathering of brainwashed knights and particularly at Arthur, who actually seemed to think he was some sort of god now. Poor fool, his delusions would only make it easier to manipulate him, so Ammit would treat him like whatever he thought he was to further his own goals. The shabti was lowered into the magical healing pool behind it after it had finished repeating the chant. Ammit gradually began to feel rejuvenated, the ill effects of Abaddon's curse being removed as the other benefits of the pool kicked in. Hell, he actually felt stronger than before. Last but not least, he knew he had now had access to these mystical springs, and while he wouldn't need them anytime soon, they would serve their true purposes when the time came. The knights gave about 5 minutes of recovery time to "him", the shabti replying with words of gratitude and excitement for being part of this brotherhood. It told them it would be heading back to the room it had prepared in to retrieve his belongings, and off it went. When it got there, Ammit revealed himself and disenchanted the copy, returning it to its lifeless, miniature form which he then hid. He grabbed his staff and robes, then headed out to meet Arthur and his men. "King Arthur," he called with a wave, "Let us discuss our plans for the future." ---------- ---------- @ Yes, and he seems to be here for more than just vengeance and his usual attempts to spread destruction. "He didn't even try to fight me even though I was dealing with some superpowered Monty Python reject. Ammit actually helped him escape from me!" Casimir heard the sounds of vehicles rushing up outside the apartment complex. He looked outside the window, taking note that these vehicles were just a little too sleek and high tech compared to the other cheap cars in the area. On top of that, he began to feel Schwartz's brooding presence close in on them. Great. Just great. "King," Casimir said as he turned back to face the man, "Two things: Official looking vehicles just stopped by, and I seriously doubt you or Sasha were expecting any company. Second thing, Schwartz is coming, and she does not seem happy..." He glanced concernedly at Eunae. If she had regressed into such a poor condition from his presence alone, what would happen if there were TWO powerful dark presences around her (fighting each other no less)?
  7. @@Jellal Fernandes Ammit laughed heartily as Rory eagerly welcomed him to Arthur's cause, the well feigned joy and enthusiasm hiding his true, dishonorable intentions and character. This was perfect, everything was going according to plan! He would continue this spiel as long as he needed to, acting in such a way that would make his guile indistinguishable from genuine friendship and loyalty. The sorcerer followed the head knight to the private chamber he had requested. Ammit surveyed the surroundings and the inside of the room, making sure there was nobody and nothing else that would be capable of spying on him... Good, all was clear, the only other person around being Rory. No matter, it would not be hard to deal with him. Ammit entered the room and closed the door behind him, then walked over to the center and bowed down with his front away from the door. Anyone that happened to somehow look inside the room would only think Ammit to be praying, or meditating to gather his bearings for the ritual. Some of that was true, but not all of it. See, Ammit had discretely pulled out a curious little item from his robe: a shabti. It was an unassuming clay figure molded in the likeness of Ammit. He held it to his mouth, whispering certain commands and incantations in Egyptian before biting the inside of his cheek. Blood seeped from the hidden wound, mixing with saliva that Ammit spat onto the figure to complete the spell. The shabti bearing his fresh blood would ensure that the beneficial effects of the ritual, primarily that of the access to the healing pools and the removal of Abaddon's curse, would be imparted to his actual person. The shabti was ready to be released, but not before a few final precautions. Ammit began to weave illusory magic about himself and the figurine, aimed to conceal himself from the others senses and to ensure that they would believe this replica of him actually was him. The second bit was probably overkill, as a properly made animated shabti would already look like an exact replica of him. It didn't matter. Ammit continued his magic until he faded from the senses completely, and all that was left was the now active shabti in the same spot and position its creator had been in. It stood and turned to walk towards the door, every motion as natural as Ammit's. It looked like him, walked like him, talked like him, and could even sweat and bleed like him. Such was the ancient art of shabti creation, to be a perfect servant to their creators. "Sir Rory," it said. "I am ready to undergo the ritual." The deceptive magic weaved around it was highly likely to avoid confusing the loyalty testing nature of the ritual
  8. If G5 does turn out to be dark and action packed, then I will actually come back to the fandom. Stuff like that is more my style, and I think such an atmosphere will be a more effective way to discuss more serious things in a better manner.
  9. @@Jellal Fernandes Ammit noticed the knights in Arthur's keep shift their positions and chances. Looks like he wasn't being given much of a choice on submitting to the ritual or not. The sorcerer laughed inwardly. He could refuse, then easily deal with Arthur and the rest of his men with powers he could not even imagine. Or, he could "accept" and undergo the ritual in a way, yet still escape doing so through subtle trickery that would not be anticipated. The second option seemed like the best choice, for if he did refuse and take out Arthur and his men, he would have lost a valuable asset. "Very well then, if this ritual will ensure our partnership and allow our visions of peace to come to fruition, then I will undergo this ritual you speak of." He stood and bowed respectfully. Now was the time to work his guile. "I must request, noble one, that you grant me a private room to prepare. It has been long since I underwent any sort of ritual on my person, and quite honestly I am rather nervous. The last one I was part of was a trap set by the demon, and it was less than a pleasant experience. However, I trust you, which is why I have agreed, but I need my time to prepare myself."
  10. @@Jellal Fernandes Servants all across the globe, eh? That was certainly unexpected, but Ammit was pleased to hear it. Such a force at Arthur's disposal will inadvertently serve the mage well, especially since there were several ancient relics he needed to acquire to begin putting his plan into motion. As with any items of power, they were scattered, but he knew that most of them were located in regions of Africa and the Middle East, the lands of the old kingdoms. Luck would have it that the final items he needed were right here in Tollopolis, hidden and protected by its magical sects. Ammit obviously needed to bypass these guardians, but even if he did, it wouldn't matter much if he didn't have the other pieces of his ritual to unlock the full potential of these things... Unfortunately, it seemed as if Arthur was not going to just join forces with him out of gratitude. The man was urging Ammit to undergo his own special ritual that would "prove" his allegiance to him. Ammit should have expected this, as no man as prideful and deluded as Arthur would offer their partnership for free. It was still annoying nonetheless, and Ammit had a hunch that this ritual would impart some sort of spell that would bind, or at least attempt to bind, his will to Arthur's. He would not allow this, and neither would his chaotic deities. The promise of the healing pools was tempting however, for such a thing was to be part of his ultimate ritual in the long run. Thankfully, Arthur seemed to hold certain ideals that Ammit could easily appeal to and exploit, namely those of tyranny and rule by might. The mage understood these well, and even the deities he was aligned with followed them. "I would like to thank you for the hospitality you have offered me," Ammit began as he finished up the food and drink he had been working on. "It befits that of a noble king spoken of in song and legend. The ideals which you hold do as well, and it pleases me to know that you believe so strongly in them. Nothing great was ever achieved through fickleness after all. I would like you to know that I too stand for such ideals, and actually have plans of my own to bring down their proper laws AND the patrons that shall help us all to enforce them. Make no mistake, I would gladly offer you my allegiance, but I believe you need to recognize more clearly that we are both working for the same goals. Because of this, we are already unavoidably allied to each other, and thus must offer our priceless aid to one another for the greater good. I have many forces and powers at my side, including that of the beings that will help us all to achieve and maintain peace and order. They have many secrets to share, including that of the healing pools which you have informed me of. We can help you in realizing the true potential of these magical pools, but I would request that we continue our partnership with 'no strings attached', as is the modern term for these lawless people. If you do so, it would not only be a great service to me, but to the powerful beings I have spoken about. They would remember to bless your rule if you do so as well, increasing the power and fame which you already have in greatness." Ammit ended his monologue and waited for the king to respond. ---------- ---------- @, @@Capricorn Things had finally died down, and in the end there were no civilian casualties aside from the police men that Arthur had butchered. Abaddon decided that it was safe to return to King and the others, especially now that he could not feel Ammit's vile presence around the area. It bodes ill for all of us that he has returned. He has foul intentions in mind, and not just the usual chaos and destruction he has spread in the past. "I know, I felt it too. He's somehow managed to become attuned to those pretender gods of chaos, more than before at least. He's communing with them like I do with you..." Abaddon arrived at the apartment complex and flew over to the open window he had exited from and entered Sasha's apartment. "Bad news guys. And I mean really bad news." He had almost forgotten that the stranger was staying with them. He wordlessly commanded the darkness to recede into his being, dissolving the demonic form and returning him to his regular human appearance. "Long story short, Ammit's back."
  11. @@Jellal Fernandes "Believe me, he is just as durable as you are, perhaps even moreso. I do not mean to offend, but this demon has faced and overcome many other beings with power and equipment that matched and maybe even surpassed your own." Ammit entered into the keep with Arthur. It was a spacious and luxurious place hidden within the shadows and overgrowing foliage of the Murk. As Arthur had promised, there was food and drink ready to be served and servants and beautiful women ready to attend to their needs. Ammit was slightly impressed with how Arthur, though a delusional person, managed to keep this place guarded from the villains and creatures of the Murk. He had set up quite the reputation in this place it seems, that was really the only surefire way to keep the denizens away. Ammit had underestimated him perhaps, Arthur would definitely suit his purposes effectively. Ammit sat down with Arthur at a table filled with scrumptious food and fine tasting wine. He began to discuss their recent encounters with the metahumans of Tollopolis. "A witch with the power of the sun, hm? I believe you're talking about the 'heroine' named Weiss," Ammit explained, adding in sarcastic emphasis on the word heroine. "She has the ability to control light, and even shadows alongside this. You must be rather powerful to withstand her attacks the way you've described, many have already fallen to her violence." He took a sip, then began to gobble down on some pork before talking again. "This Weiss is in league with demon, Abaddon. And yes, to answer your earlier question, I have history with the creature. He has thwarted several of my attempts to harken the arrival of order to this world, as he prefers to keep it in its chaotic and lawless state. My... allies are less than pleased, as they are the bringers of this ancient order that will allow all to live in comfort."
  12. @@Jellal Fernandes "You are most welcome," Ammit said as he took another bow. "Perhaps Abaddon was not harming you then, but believe me, he was holding back a great deal. Had you continued fighting, you would have seen such terrible power that would dwarf that of all the dark wizards and monsters you have encountered in your time." Ammit rubbed his neck. There was some blood from Abaddon's claws digging into his flesh, but they hadn't had time to reach deeply. He coughed slightly, and clenched his fist when he saw blackening blood on his palm. He had been cursed, he needed to rid himself of its effects soon. He should have suspected this to happen... "Yes, let us go to your keep. I am sure we have plenty to tell each other about our plans on making this wretched and disgusting world a better place."
  13. @@Jellal Fernandes, @@dragon4111 Ammit smirked as Arthur resumed his battle with Abaddon. He'd allow the knight to attack aimlessly for now, but soon he would urge him to retreat. As much as he hated admitting it, Abaddon was no ordinary enemy one could just go in and fight without preparation. Hell, even with solid preparation, he was still a difficult one to face. He was under the impression that Arthur thought the demon to be fighting to his fullest, but truth was, Abaddon hadn't even started to let loose. If he did (and this would be likely to happen if the knight angered him more), Arthur would quickly realize he was in way over his head. The Egyptian mage saw something in the corner of his eye. He turned his attention away from the battle and towards... the same person he had blasted away earlier before. Oh, so this pathetic being was a metahuman.Oh well. As Draco pulled out the flash bang, Ammit struck Draco on the side of the face with his staff, then proceeded to strike him with its base right in the groin, HARD, before blasting him away again. "Hm?" The flash bang was lying on the ground before him. "Oh for the love of-" It went off, surrounding the area in a flash of light the temporarily blinded them all. ---------- As he figured, Abaddon still needed to deal with Arthur and his arrogance. Now the knight had switched over to a blazing sword, something he did not want to have to deal with for an extended period of time. While he could still struggle through wounds inflicted by fire based things, it still hurt like a bitch, and eventually it would start to take its toll on him faster than other attacks would. For now, he would play it safe, and dodge the enraged Arthur's attack with ease before counterattacking strongly. Things had dragged on for a bit, and Ammit still had neglected involving himself in the fight. Smart, looks like the ass had finally learned his lesson from all those times before. Abaddon was just about ready to attack the mage when he saw the flash bang on the ground. Instinctively, he jumped back and covered his eyes as the thing exploded sparing himself from its effects. Looks like Ammit was unaware of this before it detonated, so he was temporarily stunned. He dashed towards him, grasping him by the neck. ---------- "Don't believe it will be so easy," Ammit mocked before uttering some more undecipherable words. Tainted water enveloped him and Arthur, transporting them through the Duat into a faraway location where they could talk. This place was relatively close to The Murk, a place both should be comfortable with. "If you wish to stay around long enough to see our goals of peace become reality, I suggest you begin following my lead," he told Arthur. ----------- "Dammit!" Abaddon seethed in rage as the waters receded from his foes disappearance. This was not good, who knows where that bastard ran off to now? Hm... most likely the Murk. He should hunt him down, but that would be dangerous. Just like Ammit considered Abaddon a worthy opponent, the reverse was the same. He couldn't rush into battle with Ammit, that would make things more difficult than they needed to be. For now, he needed to return to the apartment and relay the news to King.
  14. @@Jellal Fernandes, @@dragon4111 Ammit sneered at the voice of a human he did not even care enough to acknowledge in the first place. No matter, he would deal with this problem swiftly. He pointed his staff at Draco and spoke an Egyptian word of power. A sphere of yellow energy shot forth, collding with Draco and the car to send them blasting yards away from where they were. "Vermin, I have seen his dealings in this city. He is nothing but a petty thief." --------- Abaddon chuckled. Wasn't that the guy who Sasha was kicking the shit out of earlier? Oh well, that was of no importance. Now he had two threats to deal with, one more powerful than Arthur even imagined. It was curious that Ammit hadn't already summoned a massive serpent to swallow the knight whole... he was up to something. He needed to attack fast, but he couldn't do so blindly. Ammit was almost just as agile and cunning as he was... --------- The Egyptian mage knew where the snipers were situated, having learned their location while watching the fight between his enemy and Arthur. He pointed his staff at Arthur, creating a temporary barrier around him that would block the eventual second shot. Sure enough, the snipers fired, but this time they would be surprised to see Arthur untouched. Ammit smiled, almost kindly. "Arthur is it? I am Ammit," he said as he took a bow. "I wish to aid you in your quest for peace, for my goals are the same. We must leave this place though, the demon will not let us discuss these vital issues quietly."
  15. @@Jellal Fernandes, "Yeah, peace," Abaddon spat. "I can argue for and instill peace through my own twisted and bloody ways, because at least I don't recklessly endanger others because of pride. You're just one sad and shitty cosplayer who's let a bit too much power get to his head. You're a peasant." Arthur had then charged at Abaddon with a unanticipated speed, faster than before. The knight began to squeeze his head with superhuman strength that would have been enough to crush the skull of any ordinary human. Abaddon endured however, laughing at the perfect opportunity his opponent had given him for attack. Arthur would find himself grasping at nothing but shadow and slime as Abaddon morphed his body once again. Instead of dropping to the ground though, the amorphous mass slithered and spread over his arm towards the rest of his body. Dozens of tendrils began to restrain and constrict his limbs with enough pressure to make Arthur feel it through his armor. Metal crushing skin, muscle, and bone must have not felt pretty, but Abaddon did not stop there. His focus was the neck; he would strangle and crush the ignoble Arthur. Peasant, Drevenon hissed, Such a fitting term for one who is about to be killed like a mere rat of the field. "And for the record, I'm more than just a monster." ---------- Now was the time to show himself. Ammit would not allow Abaddon to kill the false king. During Arthur's time in The Murk, he had been observed by the Egyptian priest and his servants, and it had not taken long for him to conclude that Arthur would make an excellent "ally" for the things he had planned. He would promise Arthur the peace he intended to bring, but first he needed to free him from the demon. Tainted waters seemed to spring from nowhere in front of the struggling Arthur as Ammit emerged from the Duat. "It seems to me that you require help, kingly one." Ammit clanged the ground with his staff, causing a powerful burst of fire to leap up from underground and surround the struggling king. The armor should keep him from being terribly hurt, but it wouldn't be the same for Abaddon. The searing heat would hurt him greatly, or rather, it would have had he not immediately slithered away. Still, the radius of the burst flame was wide, and it managed to get some of him. Ammit smirked as Abaddon assumed his solid form, hissing and growling in pain. "Welcome back, demon. I see you've wasted no time in hunting the virtuous here on Earth again." "Hisss, so you've also come back after all. I wouldn't try to accuse me of 'hunting the virtuous'-" Ammit quickly cut Abaddon off. "Don't waste my time with your vile words, demon. This royal one here already stated he wanted to bring peace to this world, yet you still attempted to kill him. I would not allow that to happen of course." Ammit smiled arrogantly. He forgot how fun this could be, twisting words to turn others against his hated adversary.
  16. @@Jellal Fernandes A long tongue came forth from Abaddon's teeth to taste the air from the developing downpour. Nothing hazardous in the winds. Good. He remembered a time when his old foe, Ammit, had stirred up a heavy storm through the chaotic power of Set. His storm was nothing like Arthur's, as it brought forth a toxic torrent and hateful lightning that made many consider themselves to be lucky if they saw it strike the same place only twice. "Ooooh, scary!" Abaddon mocked as the winds began to pick up. "You do realize a pathetic storm like this will be quelled in no time by the storm metas, right? Try talking big if you're channeling the power of forgotten gods." He probably shouldn't have gotten too cocky by talking, because Arthur had been given enough time to charge lightning through his sword and strike Abaddon with it. He hissed and clutched his chest in pain as it sizzled from the electricity. Arthur began charging towards the demon, and he likely would have made his mark again had Abaddon not morphed his body into a shadowy, amorphous form to slither under between his legs. Tendrils wrapped tightly around the knight's legs as this happened, forcibly pulling them backwards to cause him to fall flat on his face, and HARD due to the high speed he had been charging at. The surprise of the sudden change of movement and force from the ground collision would likely be enough to stun Arthur momentarily, giving Abaddon enough time to attack. On top of this, Arthur would likely lose his grip on the sword he was carrying. "Asshole," the demon growled as he reformed into his more solid form. Tendrils lashed forth from his body, wrapping around the dazed knight to pick him up and forcefully slam him back into the ground headfirs before tossing him away in a different direction. "You know, it amuses us that you name yourself after a noble king, yet everything you've done is worthy of execution. You endanger an entire city just to get back at one guy? Ha! Pathetic." ---------- Hateful eyes watched with glee from the Duat as Abaddon and Arthur fought. Ammit had been attracted by the developing storm, and was quite pleased to find his old enemy fighting at the scene. How fun would it be to strike him while he was busy with this delusional fool? Very, but no, even he knew that while Abaddon was focused on something else, he would still be able to perceive an attack on his (or their, if he included that Drevenon entity) being before it happened. Cunning, even the dreaded Apophis had admired this ability. For now he would wait, but perhaps he would emerge from the darkness of this netherworld sooner than he wanted to. His ancient gods screamed at him to attack, and even he had been enraged to hear Abaddon call them "forgotten".
  17. @@Jellal Fernandes "You're a fast one." Arthur had reacted and counterattacked quickly, slashing towards the demon with great agility. To Arthur's imminent disappointment though, Abaddon was still quick to react, causing both of the slashes from Excalibur to miss as he sidestepped and leaped behind the knight to put distance between them. "Unfortunately for you, that won't be enough." While he spoke, Arthur swapped to yet another different sword. When he did, Abaddon saw how the knight's energy signature fluctuated and changed in feeling. Looks like the swords were empowering him after all, or at least augmenting any abilities he might have already had. Your name, the swords and armor you wield, perhaps you do resemble that fabled king spoken of in legends. However... "You're obviously nothing like the real King Arthur. I doubt he would pull any of the bullshit you're doing. You killed three law enforcement officers for no reason!" Abaddon bared his fangs to "smile", preparing for another attack. "You're even less of a man than the idiot who screwed Guenevere."
  18. @@Jellal Fernandes Abaddon just laughed at the haughty threat from "King" Arthur. This wasn't to be confused with carelessness however, because even while he was poking fun at the knight Abaddon was paying close attention to his movements and fluctuating energy surrounding the knight. The source of this energy seemed to be coming from the impressive and ornate blade Arthur was wielding, as it possessed a great quantity of mystical power that flowed through and enveloped its wielder in a kingly and noble aura. However, as much as the blade emanated those qualities, Arthur was anything but judging by the destruction and deaths he had recently caused. The knight lifted up a car and launched it towards Abaddon. The speed and ease at which he did this was incredible, but Abaddon saw it coming. He stretched out his tendrils and stopped the vehicles approach, then immediately launched it back at Arthur while he was in mid-dodge and sword swap. "Heh, I get it. Not Medieval Times, but a Monty Python audition, right? And you're trying to show me a recreation of the scene where cows get thrown? I can see why you were rejected, your throwing skills suck ass."
  19. An explosion was heard from somewhere in the city, after which the lights and power sources from the apartment and other outside buildings shut themselves off. Sirens began to wail as the police cars emitting them rushed to the scene of destruction. This was a good time to bail from the apartment. Even if he was hiding his aura from the stranger girl, Casimir knew it was still affecting her in some way. "You two stay and tend to her, I'll go and see what's up." Casimir exited through the still open window, tendrils sprouting from his back as he took on his demonic form. It wasn't hard to find or get to the wrecked power plant, and Abaddon arrived just in time to see a couple of officers get skewered by some knightly looking guy. The same would have happened to the other officers around them, but Abaddon was quick to pull them away from the attack. "What's the matter? Are you mad that they boo'd your Medieval Times performance?" Abaddon asked Arthur as he landed between him and the other officers.
  20. @@Capricorn Though visibly delirious and fatigued, the girl absorbed light into her body before rambling off some phrase in a different language. She repeated it a couple of times afterwards, but faster and with a growing tone of desperation before dropping down to her knees in defeat. The girl still struggled to do something of significance to him, and weakly nudged his knee to "buy the others some time". Casimir might have had a laugh or two at her expense after that if she didn't look so sick, so he quickly ushered her into the apartment to allow King and Aurora to get a better look at her. @ "My aura? But I'm not even exerting it in the slightest..." He knew those with an affinity to Light were sensitive to him, but never had he gotten a reaction like this unless he had purposely willed his aura to harm them. He figured the girl must have either acquired her abilities fairly recently or never took the time to hone them, and thus didn't know how to stabilize herself to keep from getting overwhelmed by concentrated presences of darkness. Whatever the reason, he didn't want to hurt her, and so moved away and concealed his presence from her. King pulled out his Tarot cards and selected one to use and improve the girl's condition. It was then revealed that Sasha was the one who directed her here, or rather, Schwartz. Well, it was good to know that she hadn't gone batshit crazy yet at least. Still, they needed to find her soon, but they had to deal with this stranger first before they started tracking her.
  21. @ After Casimir, King, and Aurora had finished discussing what was happening to Sasha and what was to be done with her, Casimir had decided to take a nap while they waited things out. This might have seemed like a bad idea considering he would have made an easy target for Schwartz had she decided to take her rage out on them, but there was really nothing to worry about on his end. Drevenon was capable of watching over and protecting him as he was always fully aware of anything that was going on around them. Casimir woke up when King burst into the living room, concern and some panic manifesting in his tone and face. "What?!" He was feigning surprise. Truth was, Drevenon had already alerted him to Schwartz's emergence and her departure. However, the two agreed to not do anything about it, believing that Sasha needed to release her dark side and explore everything that it brought. In their opinions at least, it was the only way for both her personalities to truly balance themselves out, and the only way to dissolve the constant threat of a chaotic and rage filled Schwartz emerging. Of course, this particular Schwartz would cause and be trouble, but they planned on that, and they would be there to restrain her from going too far. Obviously though, King would have been infuriated if Casimir had revealed all of this, but what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him. Maybe the man already had suspicions about Casimir's allowance of this even though, but that much didn't matter. @@Capricorn Just a short amount of time after the "surprise", Casimir felt a presence of light draw near to the apartment. "Ohoooo boy, what or who is it this time?" Casimir thought with an eye roll. In the past, there were sometimes light "assassins" that had been sent to neutralize him, having been tasked by either themselves or their groups to do so. It didn't sit well with such people (or creatures) that a human had acquired demonic powers, less that he communed with and hosted a powerful demon, and even less that they were known to rule over a nightmarish realm. Oh, and there was also the thing about slaughtering countless criminals and villains, sometimes publicly. Anyway, him getting targeted was a thing, and he wouldn't have been surprised if there was some pesky light wielder closing in on him. He had just entered into this realm, no doubt many magically attuned metas had noticed. The doorbell rang. Wow, this person wasn't much for sneakiness apparently... Oh well, he'd humor them. "I'll get this," he told the others, then briskly walked over to answer the door. "Let's make this qui-" Casimir began to say, actually ready to send out an attack of shadowy tendrils from beneath before he took the time to notice who was standing before him. A young Asian girl, and one that seemed to be in a pitiable condition as well. She seemed to be struggling to breathe. "Oh... sorry.... is everything alright?" He asked. He motioned over for King and Aurora to come over. Both of them being attuned to light would make it easier to help her.
  22. My OCs always hurt people in some way. My namesake was a tyrannical warlord and dragon priest, so yeah, he's obviously killed a ton of people. Acheron, a seeker of dark knowledge, has hurt many people as well in his lust for more knowledge and power. Finally, there's Abaddon, a demon was once human. He's sadistic and tortures and kills people for the fun of it. Thankfully it's just villains and criminals he does that too, but still, he's pretty twisted. tldr Krein's characters are jerks.
