I think the point is that they can be acquired without steam, which they can.  OP is trying to get around problems with the steam client. 

Almost all, but all popular steam games can be acquired by torrent. . If that is case

For Horror, try Amnesia. I know it's not free, but it's a perfect starter for Horror gamers. There are very few jumpscares leading up to almost none, and it's still terrifying without the jumpscares.

There are certainly a lot of good FPS, RPGs and I presume horror (I don't play those so I can only guess) out their, although most of the new ones are on Steam.  There are plenty of really good old games out their, probably most of which are on GOG.  My suggestions:

 

FPS:   Duke Nukem 3D

           Half-Life

           Deus Ex  - My personal vote for best FPS ever made

 

RPG:  Baldur's Gate 1 & 2

           Final Fantasy 7

           Deus Ex - it counts as both

Those are in steam too. 

I can suggest some underrated non-steam games 

(RPG)The Elder Scrolls 1-3, (Obivion and Skyrim are in steam)

(RPG)The old Harry Potter games I think

(FPS)Far Cry 1 and 2

 I am all-rounder too! I love all gaming brands, well there is some exceptions of course. I agree that I can love sony, nintendo and microsoft.

I wanted the show to have a villan that is not too stereotypical and somewhat mature that the others.

Starswirl as a villain, preserved as some form of quasi-alicorn like sombra or something, all twisted and what have you.

Woah, that would be a cool villain for the beginning of S5. It will be cool if some magic freak would revive him somehow XD

Am I pretty much of a hater of android? I mean, why are there so few android haters out there like me? I am pretty annoyed why people think the iOS suck. I love iOS. And I tried Android and it was a piece of garbage. I don't want to be alone here. I hate it when people go hating the iOS. It is even born 2 years before Android did. Am I the only Anti-Android here? When I glitched the game to finished the level quickly. I did that a lot in platformer games.

I am probably Grade 8. The subjects I like to take in were English, Computer, Math. But I have other subjects (those I said were my favorites). I probably excited for..............pretty much nothing :l. Nervous about my new experience when I am in a new school.

That said, I started in June because my summer was in April and May.

15 years old......well next week in my birthday XD.
