You should! After all the CoDs and Battlefields especially, it's a breath of fresh air of an FPS. 

The music might not be to your liking, but the gameplay is fast and brutal. Multiplayer is generic as you can get, but the single player is old school Doom brought into the modern day. The story is there but it doesn't take itself too seriously and there's optional background logs you can find that give the lore some deep substance. There are a few moments where control is taken away but for the most part you'll be tearing demons in half.
