@K.Rool Addict Well I don't appreciate you saying you hope they don't revive the series, especially as someone who considers it their favorite. It makes you come off as a bit of an ass. No offense.

So I really hope that bit was a joke.

I would rather have Nintendo revive pretty much any other franchise other than Metroid. Idk how that comes off as offensive to you. It's not like I have any say in what Nintendo does.

If it was up to me, we'd have a Mother 4, F-Zero XXX, Starfox Adventures 2, Donkey Kong 64-2, Wind Waker 2, Majora's Mask 2, Super Mario Sunshine 2, Super Mario 64-2, Paper Mario (RPG) 3, Wario Land 5, Yoshi's Story 2, Yoshi's Island 3, Pikmin 4, Mario Kart 9, Kid Icarus 3 (no Uprising trash), Luigi's Mansion 3, Animal Crossing Switch,  Fire Emblem Switch (a proper strat RPG ofc), Diddy Kong Racing 2, Castlevania 64 remake, Xenoblade Chronicles X HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X-2, among countless others I can't think of off the top of my head. All of this would be above a new Metroid in terms of priority.

Again, I say this as a person who does not enjoy Metroid games at all. I'm not telling you, that you should be ashamed for liking Metroid or wanting a new game  I honestly think a new Metroid is far more plausible than the games I listed considering the existence of Federation Force. No doubt Nintendo feels the need to apologize to its fans for such an insult.

Idk, sorry if I came off as defensive, I'm just kinda hoping for a good new game, after the last two were incredibly disappointing, one I looked forward to and the story was just.... no. And I refuse to accept federation force as a Metroid game. But if they stopped making new ones after two disappointing games, I rushed I would be very upset. At least f-zero and those other games wouldn't have the misfortune of ending on a bad note. Also, mario? No. He's been done to death, and already has a game coming up. He needs a break. Zelda just had a major release. And really? Majora's Mask 2? That's really unoriginal. Xenoblade 2 is coming out. Xenoblade X doesn't need a remaster. No more switch remasters, please!

No. just no. Completely lazy and unoriginal. 

We just had a Starfox game. We don't need another DK game. We just had a new paper mario. We just had a yoshi game. and pikmin. We just got Mario Kart 8 remaster on the switch. We just had Animal Crossing, and Luigi's mansion. Castlevania is unlikely and Konami doesn't care about games anymore. We haven't had a major metroid game in 7 years. And it wasn't a good game. Star Fox needs to be laid to rest. F-zero's last game was at least good. GIve us Metroid before any of those.
