Sadly, it's a very small dip when looked at visually. When the heat dies down, micro-transactions will return and they'll continue the same crap most likely.

Yeah, I'd assume they'll continue to dip because the pressure hasn't backed off entirely yet. But, they're most likely going to try it again with new games such as Battlefield 5 in 2018, the CEO even said that it's a likely possibility that we will see microtransactions in every game in the future. The way they try to suck every dollar out of our wallets is disgusting and EA definitely isn't going to recover it's reputation, even if the Battlefront 2 stuff dies down.
