  1. I know, I'm saying it's not worth the hassle to get a custom.
  2. There's nothing wrong with having it, it's definitely better than wasting the money and headache on an open custom loop, but still kind of overkill if you're only gaming. not to mention AIOs afaik are still not as reliable as Air coolers. More can go wrong, faulty radiator, pump, etc. Not to mention more work. it's good and efficient, tho, but just don't bother with a custom loop.
  3. Unless you're doing work intensive, you don't really need liquid cooling and it's kind of overkill for just gaming. Even overclocking you only need a good aftermarket air cooler. Yeah the AIO is more efficient, but they usually have a lifetime of 5 years, which is what warranties for. Air coolers you can set and forget, only needing to replace the paste every so often. It'll last as long as your fan does.
  4. I have 4, 2 front fans(thank god my new PC case doesn't have one of those "cabinets" those should be banned, I'm pretty sure it was a big reason my old PC got so dusty.),1 exhaust fan behind the CPU heatsink, and one CPU heatsink fan on the front. My 7600X is nice and cool. Also I still don't see the need for an AIO and especially a custom loop cooler with reservoir for gaming, unless you're doing really intensive stuff.
  5. If you have a rear fan and only one CPU heatsink, it's actually more efficient to have the fan on the front of the heatsink, because it will push air through it, and out the back fan.
  6. The 5800X3D and 7800X3D are about the same MSRP still, newegg is having both on sale for $309 and $369 respectively currently. I would have spent the extra 60 bucks and gotten the 7th gen, you would have a big upgrade path for at least a few years. But since you went with AM4, you'll likely be on that 7800X3D for the entire lifespan of your PC. Also, starting off with the highest tier that isn't workstation like with a 5960X or 7960X is kind of overkill imo. I would have gone with a 7600X or 7700X. Save a little money, then when you need to, upgrade to a 7800X3D OR, when it comes, a 9800X3D, since right now AMD just released the mobile 8th gen Ryzens. AM5 has been out since 2022, and is pretty affordable now. You'll still get a lot of juice out of that build for at least 5 years but having the future proof is nice. I started off with a high-mid range 7600X to save a bit of money, I can run everything new just fine. And I have a long upgrade path.
  7. Why 5th gen Rzyen and not 7th gen? If you're building new, I would have done that, and you won't have an upgrade path for your CPU.

  9. I didn't know her too well personally but I had many interactions with her here. I didn't always agree with decisions she made but she definitely cared about this place. Hard to believe she's gone now and at a young age, and from something terrible..... Rest well friend.
  10. Resident Evil 4 on professional, and playing the absolute crap out of Deep Rock Galactic.
  11. Resident Evil 4 on Steam, with the HD Project Mod. Amazing game.
  12. Read all the books, seen every movie, been a diehard fan since I was 11. Favorite movie is Prisoner of Azkaban. Favorite book might be Deathly Hallows or Goblet of Fire. I will say the biggest issue I have with the movies is how they butchered Ron. I love Hogwarts Legacy, best game in the series, though I did love the first 3 movie games on PC, too.
  13. It still sold a respectable 3 million. Not even Mario?
  14. But compared to other gamecube games it didn't even come close And that was the best selling Metroid until Dread, which still didn't put a dent in other games on the Switch.... Even Luigi's Mansion outsold it ;-; Have you tried any of the 2D games?
  15. Yes I wear underwear but the kind I do varies from type to type including thick underwear
  16. What "hype" are you talking about? >.> The series is one of Nintendo's least popular. Also have you ever played any of them? They're metroidvanias, exploration and combat, non-linear gameplay. It's not because of Samus Aran and I am offended at this comment.
  17. Resident Evil 4 PC, with the HD Project mod. Specifically the 2014 steam release.
  18. Hogwarts Legacy on Steam Deck. Got the deluxe edition and got to play 3 days early, really enjoying it.
  19. Fallout 1. Great game, one of the best RPGs ever made.
  20. Tunic, a furry kinda Zelda/Dark Souls like game.
  21. Recently got Tunic, great Soulslike,Metroidvania and Zelda like game.
  22. Last I knew those weren't unpopular opinions I mean, the movie is from 1977, but also, it;'s a fight between an old dude and a guy in a mask, did you expect it to be an epic?
