    Yeah, less than Zelda Mario and Pokemon. But probably more popular than fzero and starfox.

    Well it doesn't really have a negative reception, just one game in the series messed things up and the series went quiet for 6 years. Metroid is kind of niche, but still more popular than other Nintendo franchises.

    Oh I know, I understand, I'm just going on a tangent haha Metroid has never been as popular as Mario Zelda or Pokemon.

    I see. I've just always felt Metroid has been overshadowed by Nintendo's other franchises and doesn't get nearly as much attention. It just kind of makes me feel bummed that I haven't seen anyone else except for one other person here express excitement for Metroid Prime 4.

    I think what makes EA worse to me is their half hearted apologies and claims they'll change for the better, and when they're criticized directly they literally put their fingers in their ears and feign ignorance.

    Anime is really no different than Western animation. There are many different genres and types. To say anime is trash or cringey is no different than generalizing all of western animation. The only real difference between western and Japanese anime is the art style. Japanese anime is generally stylistic, big eyes that people consider "anime" and most seem to follow big long arcs.

    If Metroid Prime 4 isn't shown that would be very surprising.

    Metroid Prime 4 gameplay showcase and an official release date, Last of Us 2, Fromsoftware's new game, Bayonetta 3. Metroid more than anything though. Oh, maybe a remaster of the Prime Trilogy.

    I've said before but no, I don't believe in god, or jesus, or any higher being, much less religion. I'm an atheist and I prefer to research into things instead of falling back on "god did it" for things we have yet to explain. It feels lazy in my personal opinion. Instead of assuming a higher deity did something, I find it better to continue looking for answers with science, and if we can't, just face that some things cannot be explained by any means.

    I never said it was a justification. I don't think Nintendo is doing this out of malice, but ignorance. Nintendo has always been like this.

    They make dumb decisions but their passion for making games is still great. They're one of the few who care about making fun and quality experiences.

    No, they didn't. It had the worst third party support, not as many first party, and the marketing was horrible. The Switch has sold nearly 20 million, they've made some rash decisions, but I don't think you're giving it a fair chance.

    I agree. Samus is someone who, in my opinion, is a woman of very few words. She lets her actions speak for herself and monologues to herself. Only, in the Prime Trilogy, I think of the player in her shoes as the one who monologues while playing the game. Samus should not speak. Or at least, say few words.
