    Anypony into board/card games?

I used to play Monopoly a lot, haven't played for a long time now. It's an old classic, although as far as game design goes it's very poorly designed. As for what I currently play... I play Magic: The Gathering occasionally, as well as the odd game of Cluedo, Pandemic and whatever other board game my sister has. My personal favourite at the moment though is the Discworld Ankh-Morpork board game

    Gaming Micro-transactions in Video Games

As others have said, depends on the content being unlocked. If it's purely cosmetic, like skins (or mounts/transmog items in WoW) then I don't mind, even if the game itself is one you pay for. If it's required to progress in the game, then no, I do not like. It's not so bad if the micro transaction merely speeds things up, but even then I don't typically like it, because most games in my experience make it progressively harder to advance. One game I think has done it perfectly is the mobile game Plague Inc. Free to play, can pay a small amount to remove ads and allow for speed up of in game time, and you can also pay (also small amounts) to unlock content- but said content is pretty easy to unlock through just playing the game.

Has the Everfree Forest gotten boring?

I would suggest that a lot of nastiness of the Everfree Forest was expectation- you've been told it's very dangerous, no-one knows anyone who's been in there... but it's really not as bad as that, though still dangerous, and so by now the mane 6 are used to it, it seems much less threatening

Give me time, a masterpiece cannot be rushed.
