Oblivion was released in 2006. Whenever I launch it for the first time in a while, it says it'll automatically detect my GPU and adjust video settings accordingly, then doesn't recognize my GPU and sets the graphics to medium, even though I should be capable of running the game just fine on Ultra. It's still playable, it just stutters a lot.

I'll see what the GeForce Experience has to say about it.

I don't stutter on the highest settings with my relatively new GPU. It might be a compatibility issue with your specific/brand of GPU.

Mine is a nVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M.
