And having gone through graduate studies, I can tell you that is not the end goal of schooling. At its best, higher education opens the door to learning from masters of the craft -- and yet there are too many students deficient in basic areas due to lack of proper training.

I suppose you're right, Kyoshi. Not everyone is gonna have the same experience at college.
