  Right now I have an SSD for the OS and three mechanical drives for mass storage. Perfect storage setup imo.

  One of my friends has gone entirely SSD. SSD for the OS, SSD for games, SSD for mass storage. He's also using a silent case (Define R5) so I suppose the lack of moving parts aside from fans and the pump motor really helps with the whole silence thing.
