Usually when I get out of something, I tend to cut off whatever ties I have with that and its fandom.

You can cut out all the materialistic stuff, but I'm sure that mlp and the fandom will cross your mind once in a while, a photo, a word, if you know something it will get to you many subliminal ways, even after you "escaped it", one example could be a name, what if something is named "Twilight"? I'm sure that "Sparkle" would be the word that will come to your mind soon after, maybe at first you will not even recognize it, but then you will remember and feel nos...

* but then you will remember and feel nostalgic, it's how humans work, usually. Granted, I just may be too much of a romantic guy.
