E3 is basically nothing more than a hypefest these days.

Indeed. I wonder if Ubi will announce WD2.

      inb4 another overhyped game

  2. https://i.imgur.com/HOtUlsA.jpg So it runs at 31FPS? Cool.

But at least it will look more cinematic.

How can it be cinematic when you can't even see it

    3. MountainDrew

That's the secret. You don't have to see it in order for it to be cinematic.

You just have to believe that it's there.

  3. Ah. Well then. Yeah, you're not gonna get a whole lot out of $500 just yet. That isn't to say that a $500 PC is terrible, but you'd have to make some serious compromises to get higher-end hardware in that budget.
  4. It took me 7 months to get the money for my own build. Was very worth it in the end.
  5. Actually... why should I come up with something on PCPP? I just remembered that this is a thing. http://www.logicalincrements.com/ Basically your budget already figured out for you.
  6. All right. So, can you give me a budget? I'll see what I can come up with on PCPartPicker.
  7. Do you have any computer stores near you? They can probably build for you. You'd have to pay a labor fee for that I think, though. Haven't done that myself, I just built mine on my own.
  8. Aww, but building is so fun! And I built a month after I had surgery on my right arm and did just fine, so don't worry about it. If you really doubt yourself, find a good guide on YouTube and follow that; the build process is the same PC-to-PC, with the only major difference being a few case features.
  9. Building is very easy, it's basically adult legos. Minimal technical prowess needed to build.
  10. What I don't understand is that the Bible is full of themes of blood and gore, murder, slavery, sexual violence, violence in general, mass murder and genocide and condemns LGBT people and consuming shellfish out of all things for being "an abomination", and then apparently it's A-OK for the whole family. How is it that video games can't get away with the same things, but the holy book for a religion can?
  11. I was never a particularly religious person myself. I'd rather learn how the world actually works and be happy, rather than live a life in fear and pretend to be happy about it.

There was also an Illuminati joke earlier.

  13. GTA V doesn't seem to want to work, time to play Cities: Skylines instead.

Skylines is a good game. :)

It really is. Haven't played in a while, though. Need to get back into it.

And a lot of other games.

  14. Been hearing someone playing the drums every day for a month or two now. I think someone near me has picked up the drums.

So, the conclusion is that someone close enough to me for me to hear them play the drums has picked up the drums.

  15. Heh, Dsanders. I remember you used to be Christian, I think it was? Was religion no longer for you or something?

[2:39:44 AM] Daring: IGN would approve. [2:40:20 AM] Nameless: Yay! and another one. spoilered for language.
  17. Since peripherals are the subject right now, I'm updating the Corsair Utility Engine for my keyboard and I gotta say... I wish I could have that logo on my K70! But noooo, I gotta deal with the Tramp Stamp until I retire this keyboard.
  18. Two monitors are your best friend from a productivity standpoint :3

  19. Typically the biggest advantage is a higher-resolution, more responsive sensor, which can come in handy if you want a quick response in games or have a high-resolution monitor. But those aren't typically benefits exclusive to gaming mice, but having the extra CPI can help on a 1440p or 2160p display.
  20. Ah, I see. Interesting. I've heard about black screens and other glitches from other friends, though.
  21. Only thing that worries me is AMD's driver support. I have not heard good things about it.
  22. I dunno about you guys but the R9 290 for $250 is wicked tempting.
