      The last bit would have been acceptable in 1995, but this game was released in 2014.

      Heh, speaking of Left 4 Dead, they made Left 4 Dead 2 free for Christmas back in 2013. The amount of traffic from millions of people trying to download the game at once took down Steam for about five hours. And when the network came back up Valve kept the free game deal up and put additional games on sale to make up for the downtime.
