      yeah...about that, being optimistic isn't always a good thing because the chances of perceiving the image in a wrong way are way higher

      There's a rather large difference between being a pessimist and a realist. The key is to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I believe that Ella was expressing her discontent towards those who expect the worst and bitch about it all day.
