    Took me five minutes after reinstalling windows 7 that for some reason, my system just feels so much more stable and faster.

      :/ I don't get why Windows 7 feels so much faster than windows 8 though O_O Win8 is supposed to be much more optimized.

      Optimized, it is. Problem is, it's got more weird stuff going on at the same time because of the two interfaces, the regular desktop and the 'metro' one. It's almost like it's running two operating systems at the same time.

      It might just be that I'm on a Z77 chipset rather than Z87. But for some reason, windows 8 capped my SSD write speed at 100mb/s yet Windows 7 lets it go to 540MB/s
