I actually like her and Silverspoon both. I joke with my friend that they're my favorite little bullies. I really hope she gets some character developement. I'm interested in her motivations as a character. I would hate it if she was written as being a bully because she's spoiled or just for the sake of being a bully. I hope that they make future episode revolving around her and Silver that really tugs at my heart strings. Besides, I like her mean facial expressions, especially in the Gabby Gums episode. And I thinks she's excellently voiced.

What are things you do when Stressed/Angry
Sylentmana replied to dedacct6's topic in General Discussion
I'll: 1. Watch ponies. 2. Eat a lot of mint chocolate chip icecream. 3. Sleep 4. Whine out loud, but only when I'm alone out of earshot. 5. Bottle it up where it will slowly fester into a mental illness. -

I actually think that though she would be saddened by it, she would also understand us hunting for food. After all, animals hunt, kill, and eat each other and she even fed fish and worms (which are animals) to other animals in the show. So either, she's only friends with certain types of animals, which would kind of make her a hypocrite, or she understands that there is a food chain. I think she would come to realize that humans are omnivores and would accept that though she would probably encourage us to eat more fruits and veggies. Sport hunters and those who abuse animals (and probably PETA), on the other hoof, should watch their backs 'cause Fluttershy's a comin for ya!

movies/tv Scenes in anime that really touched you?
Sylentmana replied to Courageous Thunder Dash's topic in Media Discussion
One scene that comes to mind for me is in season 2 of Slayers when Gourry was taken by the demons and Lina tried to go on and pretend like she wasn't bothered by it. Then when she was alone in her room she started crying for him. It always makes me feel sad for her, but then I get over it because the show can't stay serious for more than five minutes. -

gaming Your favourite mission/chapter in a video game?
Sylentmana replied to GrauWitz's topic in Media Discussion
My favorite parts of a game are ones where you are basically unstoppable. I love the feeling of tearing through my enemies and watching them panic when I use my super awesome abilities. For example: -The last level of The Darkness during the eclipse. -The part where you become a giant in Alice: Madness Returns. -The first part of Prototype. - Pretty much all of Diablo 3 with the Wizard (on easy mode at least). I guess I have a power complex or something. I also love a good cinematic boss fight like all the boss fights from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. -
I was thinking of this exact same thing! I also would have trouble wearing it due to the fact that I wear glasses. I can't even wear sunglasses without a subscription.

Where does the magic come from?
Sylentmana replied to TheFoolArcana515's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
In my opinion, the thing that makes magic what it is, is a lack of understanding of how something works. People uses to think rocks with magnetic properties were magic, but now we call it science. In Equestria, they say the word "magic", but they seem to have an understanding of it on a seemingly scientific level. I think that the word "magic" is just a general term the ponies use for something that operates within the realm of science. Perhaps magic is just the name of a pervasive energy force that the ponies can tap into and manipulate with their minds. This is why Twilight speaks of magic in scientific terms and studies it on a scientific level much the same as she studies the world around her.- 25 replies

Where does the magic come from?
Sylentmana replied to TheFoolArcana515's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Twilight says that magic comes from within a pony and is able to be tapped as a power source. Because of their horn, unicorns are able to use the power in its rawest form. The other two types of ponies are able to tap into magic in more subtle ways. Pegasi use it to walk on clouds and manipulate the weather and earth ponies use it to help plants grow. Zecora has been seen to be able to use magic in her own way without the use of a horn as a catalyst and probably uses the magical properties of certain plants in her potions. Gilda's ability to sit on clouds suggests that gryphons have innate magic similar to pegasi. The natural world also seems to be able to produce magic as evidenced by certain plants (poison joke, hearts desire, seeds of truth, etc) and by the presence of Timber Wolves which appeare to be naturally occuring magical constructs. Considering all this, it is my opinion that magic is the life force of the world in which Equestria resides. All living creatures produce it and are sustained by it. Love appears to be a tangible magical force that can be siphoned off by creatures such as the changelings leaving the victim in a weakend state. I don't know if it's considered canon, but in the comics, Chrysilis states that she plans on draining all the magical power from Twilight Sparkle destroying her in the process. The resulting rush of emotions from her after seeing her die would provide a feast for her subjects. This would destroy the rest of the ponies connected to the Elements of Harmony and provide enouph power to mount a new assult on Canterlot. This provides evidence that emotions are also connected to a pony's life force and therefore is magic as well. If draining magical power from another being kills them, then it lends further credence to my theory that magic is the same as or is connected to a creature's life force. I had more in mind, but I've suddenly forgot it so I'll just end with that. Just my head canon at least.- 25 replies
