  1. People's abuse of the words 'like', 'basically' and just extreme levels of word repetition. Which can go hand in hand with cussing. I'm fine with cussing, it's the extreme levels of word repetition that gets me triggered. ex: "like, basically my grandmother died and stuff, she basically like died in her sleep so like, basically it was nice for us". UUUUUGGGHhh... it makes me want to shove an ice pick in my ears. Also in YouTube videos (more prevalent in Photoshop tutorials) when people say 'oh sorry about my voice, I have a cold'. I REAAAAAAAAALLLY don't care. Or when they cough but they keep it in the video and say apologize about their allergies. Just do some post work and you don't have to feel sorry for anything. It's really not that hard.
  2. I admit it, I tend to get infatuated with fictional characters than real people. It's mostly because I try to have connections with people and I must come off as someone with more NSFW intentions. I guess it doesn't help that I don't have physical attractive attributes, nice hair, dresses well, nice shoes (I wear the same pair everyday and get new ones when the time comes). I like to see myself as an attractive person as a personality, I'm modest, I try to be likeable, I REALLY try to smile (I forget to, especially when I feel really happy; I still have a neutral resting face). This paragraph doesn't help my case either because it sounds like I'm coming off as selfish. I would like to think it doesn't but it does. I can take rejection, in fact I can take a straightforward answer. Having Asperger Syndrome and not reading social cues with 100% accuracy; I have to look back at the interaction that I had with a woman. Having to think about their body language, eye contact and dialogue with me; just to know if they have non-verbally rejected me. So to keep up my spirits, I tend to fall back to characters that don't exist. Which leads to my next admission: I admit that I'm crazy for Mettaton EX. He's just so confidant, so pretty, so leggy. There's the saying 'sex on the brain', with me it's more like Mettaton on the brain. I'm pretty polyamorous when it comes to fictional characters but Mettaton... woof. If the day comes when we can transfer our minds into robot bodies, I would love to be a real life Mettaton EX. Also I admit that I get a little miffed if someone deliberately wants to use 'she' pronouns when talking about Mettaton. HE is a female to male transgender robot who everyone in the game uses is referred to as a 'he'. It's in the wiki for goodness sake. I admit that I'm a very lazy procrastinator. I put off a lot of stuff because when I tend to forget after I drive home. I want to get better at drawing to where I can make money on the side. It's my own fault for not doing things to get better at... things. Plus it doesn't help when Google searches don't get accurate results. I have been recently taking Adderall so that should help somehow. I admit that with all the video game stuff that has been happening, I have been just feeling like Nintendo Switch has been treating me better than Xbox and Playstation. I'm not a Zelda fan but Breath of the Wild is a great starter for anyone who would want to get into it. I'm having such a fun time with it I have spent a few nights staying up until 3 in the morning. It's just so hard to put down.
  3. I GIVE MONEY TO A SHADY CULT. YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! I found an old Micro SD card under the couch.
  4. Well this thread hasn't been created time and time again. It's OK however, it gives me a chance to add to my reply count. I'm deathly afraid of cannibalism, it's gotten to a point where I am becoming a vegetarian (almost vegan). What movie didn't help was Kingsman Golden Circle. I got panic attacks and temporarily left the theater in a cold sweat during 'that scene'. I'm trying not to be afraid of spiders. As of late, more of a fear than a phobia is the state of what the internet will be in the future.
  5. Definitely above the Michael Bay Transformers films by miles and somewhere in my top 20 films of all time (I admit it's not in my top 10).
  6. I was curious if there were any bronies/pegasisters that knew ASL or other sign languages. I would like to mostly discuss here with what signs/words mean what. Perhaps exchange Skype usernames to practice or just chat in ASL or other sign languages. Skype: nit_pick@outlook.com Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this.
  7. I don't use Skype as often but I hope to use it now. Mostly because I'm looking for other ASL bronies and pegasisters to practice off of for my ASL course that I'm taking at college. Username: nit_pick@outlook.com (I think)
  8. I have the 360 version but I just seem to prefer PC now a days. Is the game even remotely enjoyable on PC? Because it seems I need to mod it to be a PC game to begin with. Is it worth the trouble for mouse and keyboard controls? I can play "The Surge" just fine on my computer.
  9. Never really had a husbando or even considered using the word. But until I met... him. ♥♥♥ Mettaton EX ♥♥♥ I'm gonna cosplay as him at this years comic con at my town. Go-go boots and everything. Waifu —again I never really use the word all the time— would be ♥♥♥ Toriel ♥♥♥ Sweet lovable goat mom. Particularly when she's drawn THIIIIICCC
  10. Well Nit Pick's secret is more of a secret to him. When he organized the entirety of The Canterlot Library when he was young, he thought he got his cutiemark from his organization skills and OCD tendencies. When in actuality he is able to create and charter maps, easily navigate his way around mazes, and re-trace his steps. Basically his special talent is navigation. His cutie mark appeared because he knew 'where' the books needed to be placed. He thinks he's just good at organizing and neatness.
  11. There are some good shows but most of them are on Hulu or Netflix now a days like everyone else has said. Sleepy Hollow is a pretty great show with 'fish out of water' humor, practical effects and a great story. It's a shame it's dying out when an actress's character died. I don't think that was the case, I think it's mostly because of the new villain. He's such a chode. I miss the show "Almost Human", it was so good.
  12. @@Vulon Bii, Good to know. Just to double check, you didn't uninstall all the drivers before you upgraded did you? *watches ReviewTechUSA's video about the Ryzen* Holy shit... um.... now I am. :3
  13. I'm looking to upgrade my computer's motherboard and CPU. Some old stuff says I need to remove drivers before I upgrade. Windows 10 related stuff says they made it easier which is promising but I need an affirmation if this is true. For example if I upgrade the parts that I want and move the old stuff in like hard drives; I should not lose anything?

No idea, maybe on potato settings.

    technology Raspberry Pi

Old thread yes, but I think this'll apply here. Is there anything better than the Raspberry Pi? I heard about this UDOO X86 that claims to be 10x powerful than the Raspberry Pi 3. Here's the specs ↓ Because I got the Raspberry Pi 3 and it's treating me alright. Personally I was wanting a good PS2 emulator but the Pi 3 doesn't work well with PS2's graphics. Which I can understand.
  16. My one memory that I cling on to was before the 'like' button system. Now everywhere you look online, there will always be the thumbs up/down buttons. Especially on YouTube, the 5 star ratings were more accurate in my opinion. The like buttons feels like a 50/50 thing. It's whether or you 100 percent fully like it, not like it or click on neither button. There is no average score unless you count the ratio of the likes and dislikes.
  17. I could go back and edit my post to add this but I will just create another comment. During my weight loss calorie counting days (I'm in weight maintain mode now, I lost 57 pounds), I found a new passion for mustard. I LOVE mustard; Zero calories, pure deliciousness. OH I almost forgot, Halestorm. I love her music, especially Mrs. Hyde. I've listened to her on Google Music and I can't get enough. I can't go back to my old music. It's SO good!
  18. ↑ In my summation, this. I can accept that there are other YouTube, television shows, movies and games that I don't like (or have any interest in trying). But if someone else likes it, it doesn't bother me much. A factor of me having some disdain towards something would be the fandom behind it. If I'm a fan of one thing and someone else likes something else, for me MLP and someone else would be House of Cards. If they keep their love of House of Cards to them selves, I can keep quiet about mine. No harm no foul. The big problem would be the other party wanting to shove their fandom down my throat. Same goes for über fans of MLP wanting to shove ponies in other peoples faces. I say I have no interest in House of Cards, they bring up boring reasons as to why I should like it. For example "Good cinematography, good acting, etc." and somehow I can't get past the first episode. The non-MLP & HOC-lovers would think I'm the weird one.
  19. @@Monocerus, I don't have any suggestions on people to watch you other than play the latest games. I learned how to reduce the dropped frames to zero, if you're still looking for tips. *points to the 2013 post date*
  20. I streamed a blind first play through of Resident Evil 7 to completion before. My channel is Nit_Pick. I'm going to stream a second play through eventually. I finally managed to get a good connection to twitch without my frames dropping (at the end of the game). I have on screen chat enabled, a good mic and a face cam. I would appreciate it if people wanted to watch me play games now and again.
  21. I'm in love with the concepts and theories of time travel and alternate dimensions. One of the reasons I love MLP is the unicorns usage of levitation magic or in my case; telekinesis. I love the thought of being able to lift something with your mind. Maybe even stopping bullets with just a thought. Also just psychic powers in general. Look at Psychonauts for example. Also abstract super powers. Unlike mainstream powers, one power I thought of is kinetic energy manipulation. For example, stopping bullets then transferring that energy into a punch.

  23. As for someone who has a hard time communicating with others on what I have to say. I learn about how to get my point across without sounding inept. It still happens now and again but not as bad as it used to be. What I usually hear more often than not is just heinous to me. Most of these words are ok on their own and only used sparingly: "Basically" - How it's supposed to be used for example, like giving the dictionary description for circle then ending it with "Basically a circle" That is how it is supposed to be used. Saying basically does not make one understand it better. Unless they actually make it easier to understand which is fine. "Like" - This one is just to annoying to hear. I mean, this one is fine in some way. Hearing this over and over again is just painful to listen to. Word repetition just makes me zone out. I can never hear what the person is saying if they use 'like' as a go to conjunction in their sentences. "...and stuff" - This one really grinds my gears. Like with the other three, it is fine on it's own. Overusing it should be a crime against communication. It is just a monosyllabic version of et cetera (also known as etcetera or etc.) Now, there is the misunderstanding of the word 'pussy'. Used sexually and censoring it is fine, used in the context of cowardice and I think it should never be censored. Because the word in context of cowardice is a monosyllabic version of pusillanimous; meaning fearful.
  24. So I went to PAX South yesterday. I tried out some games, didn't get a chance to try out the Nintendo switch. But the one VR game I tried stood out among the rest. A puzzle box game with PlayStation 4 VR. The controller acts as the characters hands stuck inside a puzzle box. It operates by figuring out what buttons on the controller change the parts on the outside. Some gameplay I recorded on my phone. ↓ So what do you guys think?
  25. Rainbow Dash to AJ: What d' you say I take you home and eat your p ? Cheese Sandwhich: *Doing any song parodys or polka collections of past MLP songs* AJ: I'm gonna go see Aunt and Uncle Orange just to see how they're doing. (Because it totally wasn't a quick joke at apples and oranges) Twilight: You me in Japan, watch me dance. Maud Pie: I farted on you when you put banana peppers in the Wheaties. Discord: I don't know if I'm able to talk to you if you got a stink booty.
