      He appreciates me looking out for him. But, if this problem continues, me and him will seriously have to sit down and have a father-to-son conversation.

      Just tread carefully-a lot of folks resent someone that they taught how to walk and talk telling them how to live. Although you have the best of intentions, it can end up driving a wedge between you if you're not careful how you approach it.

      That being said, I'm sorry for what you're going through, and hope he sees sense.
