  1. "Oh that's too bad, I'm already expecting a present from you!" Sam retorted, sticking out her tongue.
  2. Last thing the Egotist said to Shadow. Indeed! They're cooler than Big Daddies.
  3. How dare you! I am disgusted by your actions! Also Shadow, can you spell, guilt trip?
  4. Sam looked at the corrupted Shadow. "Mister Shadow hello! I'm glad to see that you are alright!" Sam looked at the group. "You know, you guys are the first real friends I've had here. Oh, I have an idea! If I were still alive, it would be my eighth birthday next week, how would you guys like to celebrate with Daddy and me?" Sam got a dreamy look on her face. "We could play games, have cake, oh! And there could be presents! I've never gotten any presents before!" With the last statement, she looked towards Shadow, a cunning, yet sweet, smile across her face.

2's campaign is almost entirely linear and seems more like something like Halo, double so since they put you in a Prototype Big Daddy suit which is basically super power armor.

(Though I still don't get it, if the prototype Big Daddy suit could move so fast and use Plasmids, why is the finished product so lame compared to it?)

Most people were afraid of Big Daddies, so they limited the abilities of later versions to make people feel safe. At least that's what I always thought.

Well...Bioshock 1 had a pretty linear campaign, too.

  6. Sam in a nutshell: Am I the only one who finds Little Sisters amazingly adorable?
  7. Sam gasped and hugged her father closer. "No! You can't do that, it's terrible!"
  8. Sam nodded eagerly. "Uh huh, he just got back today! What's wrong with Miss Rain? I'm sure Daddy can help, he's brilliant!"
  9. A flash of white light fell from the sky and landed next to Sam. The figure stood up, revealing the Egotist... Almost. His usual garb was completely white and golden now, his mask was nowhere on his face, and instead of a saying the usual smug remark, he hugged Sam. Sam relaxed and her dress returned to its normal shade of yellow. "Daddy, these are my friends. Miss Rain, Mister Plague, and Mister Seb!" She turned to face the others. "Guys, this is my dad, the Egotist, Manny Davis!"
  10. Sam just went Little Sister on Blaire and Co. Working on bio for her now.
  11. Sam laughed coldly. "Blaire, you don't get it do you? I'm not asking you to stop for our sake, it's for yours." The smoke cleared and Sam walked forward, perfectly fine. Her usual cheery smile was now a dark smirk, and her yellow dress had changed to a red color. "Do you know who I am? I am Samantha Davis, seven year old daughter of Manfred Charles Davis, a.k.a. the Egotist, a.k.a. the smartest man alive, a.k.a. the strongest man alive, a.k.a. the fastest man alive, a.k.a. the greatest man alive." Sam looked toward Blaire and the grin on her face softened. Sam's eyes began to water and she started to cry. "DADDY!" Sam screamed uncharacteristically loud and discordant as compared to her normal sweet voice.
  12. Sam glared at Plague and then at Sebastian. "Plague, Seb, stop it," she walked up to the one who had been identified as Blaire. "Leave us alone."
  13. Sam stood up. "Stop it," she demanded coldly and firmly, very unlike the usual Sam. "Stop fighting, now..."
  14. ...Beautiful description... The rock is magic, it does magic things. Like draw Sam's attention away from her father.
  15. "Okay then," the Egotist hit one last button on his bracer. A vile popped out of a slot. He held it up, light shone through the gray liquid inside. "This is a rather interesting thing, it grants the drinker entry into the enigma that is the inner thoughts that are usually inaccessible. Drink it and you will be able to see your past experiences and your past thoughts, both conscious and unconscious, and nothing else. You will have two hours, use that time to make amends with yourself." The Egotist handed him the vile. "It's up to you," he turned to leave. After a few steps he stopped and spun around. "Oh and before I go, remember this, Sam will now be expecting a birthday present from you, don't let her down."
  16. The Egotist shook his head. "Not with that attitude, look all you have to do is delve into the inner mechanisms of your psyche and find the memory, memories, emotion, emotions, thought, or thoughts that are the source of your ailment and repent them. Simple enough right?"
  17. "Ah ha! Now we are getting somewhere," the Egotist knelt down and held up Shadow's head. He peered into his eyes. "It would seem, that your mental affliction is entirely subconscious, meaning their should be little I can do..." The Egotist stood up and typed into his bracer. "Emphasis on the 'should' part, because it would seem I have something that can help." He looked up from his bracer's screen. "But can you handle it?"
  18. "Intriguing," the Egotist said in a bored tone. "I feel so bad for you, a headache, you truly suffer. Now, tell me what is wrong, mental collapse? That's what is seems like to me."
  19. I feel kind of foolish for asking, but, which "Hello, World" do you mean?
  20. "I was showing her my favorite rock! Do you want to see it?" Sam asked quite excited as usual. ------- In the dark club, a figure approached Shadow. "*ahem* Gentleman?" a voice sounded from the darkness. "You seem to need some help, anything I can do?" The voice stepped into the light, revealing the Egotist.
  21. "I love music!" she cried in joy. "It's too bad it's kind of rare around here..." She sulked for a moment. "Oh, hello Mister Sebascio-Sebatrai- Mister Seb!" Sam managed after struggling with with the name. "You must like it here too!"
  22. "Oh yes, I can tell," Sam swayed side to side. "Do you like music, mister?"
  23. We lost, even though I Ubered him... FIVE TIMES...
  24. Sam was too busy looking at the sky to have noticed any of the others talking to her. She shook her head and looked back at the group. "Ah!" she squeaked. "Oh, it's just you guys. Sorry I was distracted by... something... Anyway, I'm Sam! Nice to meet you, Mister Plague!" She called toward the receding figure. She turned to Shadow who was hugging Rain. "See Miss Rain? I told you!"
