You're basically saying this banner is annoying and has no humorous value in it because they're humans in it. That's not true. It's a good banner, partially because of the composition (a little tweak in the picture could help with that), shows the BronyCon experience well, and adds a little hilarity by having Larson photobomb the meetup. XD

The problem with what you're saying is that it's an opinion. My opinion differs a little.
