Silent Saturn

my list part 3 -I cringe when people say Hair dye instead of hair colour -I hate it when people screw up my name (they will call me Selene instead of Selina) -I utterly despise spiders yet snakes don't bother me at all -I act like a total cat. I swear I got mixed with with a cat somewhere in my genes OO; -I get very depressed if I'm surounded by too much black, grey, white, and dull colours. I keep my room filled with bright, vibrant colours that perk me up right away. -I don't drink coffee at all yet I work at a coffee chain -For some reason or another, I manage to flabberghast men when I tell them I'm a meat and potato kind of girl when it comes to food. Why these men keep thinking I like salad is beyond me. -According to my dad, my birth triggered a snow storm out of the blue -You know those new cat ears they have out that move by sensing your brain waves? I have a pair and because I have A.D.D. and my mind is always procesing in the background more then usual, those things twitch like a kid on caffine xD

To add to my list: -There is a particular seat I like to sit in on the bus to work and I get kind of grumpy if smeone swipes that seat as I'm getting on the bus -I HATE being late and others being late too. if someone shows up 5 minutes before they are supposed to arive, I still consider them to be late. -I get kind of giddy inside when someone orders my favourite drink at work. (I work at a tim hortons and I LOVE lemon iced tea, raspberry frozen lemonade, english toffee, peach juice, and both small and large chocolate milk) Same goes for food (steak and cheese and lazagna ftw to name a few) -I get rather territorial over my till and work space at work o.o -I can spend hours playing in the underground tunnels in pokemon pearl -I cringe when people talk about cutting their hair short. I love long hair, yet when people talk about getting just a trim I'm fine with it. -i utterly despise mullets. They need to die in fire, with acid, in a lightning storm on jupiter, while being bombarded by gamma rays. -when I look in the mirror at home I see myself as loking healthy and holding my weight well yet i hate looking at myself in mirrors at clothing stores because they always make me look bigger than I actually am. -When I see someone has a pimple or zit and they won't do anything about it, I scream inside "Just pop that sucker already and get on with it!!" -seeing real life gore, like from a crime scene, doesn't bother me yet TV and movie gore does. -poor communication skills drive me up the wall so I practically obsess about being clear and conscice when I am speaking to someone to avoid a misscommunication of some sort. If it does happen, I fix it right away. Ok here's a weird one for you guys: I have Broad Sight-sound synesthesia meaning I can see colours when I hear music, sounds, read text, symbols, etc... For example when I hear the song Bye Bye beautiful by nightwish, I ALWAYS see navy blue and this nice pastel sand colour. If I listen to something that is grating, i see black or puke green to name a few example. The colours never change. I always see whatever colour something is every time i see/hear it. it makes listening to music kind of fun :3 and no I am not on acid or any kind of drug.

-I can get a bit bitchy and OCD when people don't keep the under counter fridges at work properly organised or if they over stock them. I call them my babies xD -according to my boyfriend, I giggle in my sleep sometimes -I can't stand wearing certain kinds of fabrics because they drive my skin up the wall -I get very dignified, like Rarity-type dignified when I'm drinking -I can't sleep in complete darkness yet i can't sleep if I leave my computer on because the power button flashes bright blue light -I can eat raw mushrooms with no problem but cooked ones make me sick -I am rather superstitious for someone who has a rather scientific mind and outlook on things -Even though I had braces, my two front teeth are not perfectly aligned right down the middle with my nose. they are very slightly off to my left -I bruise up all black and blue just from bumping into something. The coffee cups at work are the worst offender if they are over stocked in their dispensers -for some odd reason I turn into a furnace on my monthly. it sucks in the summer time DX I have a very strange habbit of being able to find the spots on peoples' bodies that hurt at that time and poking them. I don't do it intentionally mind you. I call it having ninja skills :3 -I actually get giddy when it snows -for my birthday yesterday, my boyfriend took me to the local planetarium and when I discovered it has an exhibit where you can touch a real life moon rock that was brought back to earth from apollo 17 (one of only 5 exhibits in the world) I had a gigantic geekgasm for 10 mins straight and I got a few funny looks from other patrons. I'm quite proud of that actually

I have quite a few names that are/were legal OO; My legal name at Birth was Selina Nancy Logan. I was adopted as a baby and my name was legally changed to Tara Marie Selina Phelan. I reunited with my biological dad and I currently live with him. I go by Selina now because my dad can't pronounce Tara properly xD (It's Tear-ah. I hate it when someone calls me Tar-rah)

I'm usually either working, out and a about, going to weekly brony meet ups, artistic things like painting and crafting projects with embroydery floss (I'm almost done wire wrapping my ipad chord with sunset shimmer's colours <3 ), playing KH on my DS, long discussions with the fam about anything and everything, and cuddling with my special someponies (polyamory ftw :3)

I got hugs from the awesome Tabitha St.Germain at BronyCan August 24th~~ I found out what makes her tick!!! It's not sugar, or cafine... It's... BEET JUICE!! XD I asked her what made her tick and she pulled out this jar of beet juice from her bag. I did a double take and I said "For a second there I thought Princess Luna became a vampire or something" xD She is a hoot!! and very huggable :3

your back eh? Yeah I tend to store all my stress in my back as well and i need a good massage every now and again. I should probably bug someone to give me one later today xD

I'm mostly bored and currious but guys, when you are stressed out, what do you like to do to relax or what do you find to be relaxing for you when you're stressed out? When I'm stressed I like to either take a long hot bath or watch Bob Ross do one of his paining on youtube. Yes it does sound stange but watching someone paint is relaxing for me

Some constructive criticisim from one artist to another. Before I begin I just want to say that this is a good first attempt at getting back into drawing. Now a few things I'd like to paint out: 1)Eyes. A)The shape of the eyes are too square in shape and they actually make her look more masculine then feminine. Round out and soften the shape and they'll look much better. The size of the eyes is too big. They take up most of the face and make her head look too small for her eyes. Try making them about 1/4th the size they are and go from there 2) Head. A) Her head looks more like a circle then a longish oval shape. Coupled with the large eyes, the face shape makes her head look too small for her. The proportion of mouth/chin area to her head as a whole is too small. You sdrew her with a big grin but no chin. It looks as though you intended her to have a smile instead of a grin. There neesd to be space for a chin. A persons' (or in this case ponies') chin moves lower and becomes mroe prominant when a subject is grinning. 3) Hair. A) You got her lower swept curl by her neck just right but with how small you made her upper spet curl that is on the oevr side of her face, the lower curl looks bigger than it actually is. Volume. Adding those little details would help to empahsie how much valume Rarity has in her curls and she has a lot. Not as much as Pinkie Pie but it's there (I do hair dressing as well) With the missing hair details and the type of shading you used, it makes her hair look flat and stiff like cardboard. Try looking up pictures of women with curly hair and look closely at how the curls look in different kinds of light. Notice the colour, texture, shadows, details, etc.. 4) Neck. The only thing about the neck is that it's too long and adds to the effect of making her head to small for her. Other than that just keep practacing I hope this helped.
