    Two choices here. The first one is rather arbitrarily chosen from Shadow of the Colossus. I say arbitrarily because, really, most of the music from this game does the trick for me. But this is one of the few tracks that isn't associated with giant beasts that you battle to the death, so it's the one I went with. I first heard the piece used - bizarrely enough - as part of the soundtrack for an old silent documentary called Man With a Movie Camera. The music managed to stay with me.     Hail Mary (1985) Starts off intriguingly enough, but the second half feels like a bunch of structure-less pseudo-philosophical posturing. At the very least it's well shot and the lead actress is beautiful, but on the whole...eh. Oh Godard, I can't decide if I love you or hate you.

    So I've been rewatching the Walpurgis Night battle and I couldn't help but take special notice of Homura. Her sheer meticulousness in setting up the battlefield, going as far as to predict most of the witch's movements and laying traps accordingly. Her face, which betrays no expression even though you know she's nearing the despair event horizon. That heartrending moment near the end when she's about to give in for the last time. What a girl. I think...my allegiance may be shifting... lol I still haven't seen Rebellion
