  1. I voted for indifference. Haven't really seen enough to care. Honestly, lest he's brought back in the fourth season and given a major role (considering how many stallions have a major role that's highly unlikely), he'll just be another pony who got a minute of spotlight and faded into obscurity.
  2. Not sure. It looks like it'd be a rough parody. Some of the lyrics would throw the song off balance. Just trying to read and keep up with the tune would be kind of hard. One part, "Everypony is afright' should be changed to 'Everypony's filled with fright'. 'Afright' isn't exactly a word, so 'filled with fright' would make more sense and it still holds true to the rhythm. It's a really rough song to parody because of the rhythm and such. You have to structure your words in such a way as to keep up with the tune. I'm not very good at making parody lyrics but the part I commented on keeps true to the tune. It is an interesting parody though ^^
  3. If I were a new resident in Ponyville, I'd probably make friends with a few of the mane six. I'd be better friends with Vinyl though, since we'd share creativity. I'd probably become an artist and make paintings and such for a living. It'd be a different story if they had computers. I'd still be friends with Vinyl, for the artist in me, but I'd make a living programming and such.
  4. The most likely pairing? I'm not really sure. There's already one pairing, Cadence and Shining Armor, but that was over the course of one, sorry, two episodes. I'd have to agree that the one that would most likely become cannon would be Mac and Cheerilee. I doubt any pairings like TwiDash or those would ever become cannon. If not Mac and Cheerilee then FlashLight. I could see them bring Flash back to pair with Twilight. Other than that, there isn't enough episodes with stallions (at least ones who aren't already married) to make a viable connection. Mac and Cheerilee was about the only episode where you could make a connection. As for Celestia and Discord, I don't ever see that happening. Fluttershy and Discord, maybe. Not Celestia and Discord though. The one problem with this would be the parents. Hasbro would get more crap over this than the Derpy escapade. Sure, a large portion of the brony community would be fine with it, save for me (TwiDash 5evah!), but the parents of the children watching the show would more than likely, a large portion anyway, disallow their children to watch the show anymore. The show's ratings drop, Hasbro loses money, the show gets cancelled.
  5. I liked the one in Kung Fu Panda ^^ I actually think they're kind of cool the way the walk and stuff. My friend tossed a pop because it jumped and landed on it. I told him he shouldn't have been messing with it, lol. One thing I think is neat is the mating rituals. I feel bad for the males though.
  6. Social awkwardness all the time. Of course I have pretty high standards when it comes to conversations so anything short of a full on debate will probably be a 'waste of time' to me. I don't like talking to people irl, simply for the fact that most people where I live are ... for lack of a better word 'illiterate'. I think today's teenagers need to get off their cellular devices and do something, anything else. If I can walk into the food court of a mall, I never go to malls but for very rare occasions, and not find a group of teenagers sitting together texting, then ya'll might be on the right track. Seriously, who texts the person sitting right next to them?! Just say hi! This definitely isn't on my list of things that are a 'must fix' but it could definitely use some work. I guess parents are partially to blame, but if your life would come crashing down if you lost/broke your phone then you have a serious problem. Computers are a big one too. I love the little buggers, but it's not good by any means for these young kids to be on them constantly. I'm anti-social as can be, so texting/messaging is superb for me. That is to say I can talk with people face to face, I just prefer messages. Messages don't slip up in the middle of an important conversation. Anyway ... Technology is to blame, in my opinion. I'm normally out and about all day, even though I'm anti-social. A little daylight isn't going to hurt you little vampires. You're not gonna sparkle like a disco ball. Try it, you might like it. (Didn't intend any insults at all. Everything I said is in jest. The point I was making was technology is causing the children to become ... hmm, what do you call a step above anti-social? Well, anyway, that.)
  7. Sadly, I don't believe in anything after death. I think it's a lovely sentiment, an afterlife and all that, I really do. I just have a hard time believing in something I can't physically grasp or look at documented photos of. I can see photos of the moon. I've yet to see a legitimate documented photo of the 'pearly gates'. I'm not bashing any religion, don't get me wrong. I think people have a right to believe in whatever they want to believe in, so long as it's not infringing on the rights of others in the process. I'm happy there are some who can blindly follow a being they've never seen. I think I'd be a lot happier if I thought I didn't just disappear after death. I believe in ghosts but that's another matter entirely. Something to do with a spiritual resonance left behind. In some cases you don't even have to be dead to have a ghost. A ghost, to me, is a really delayed shadow. It will mimic your actions and can sometimes interact with the physical world. Basically it's a hologram that can move/touch things. That's just what I believe anyway.
  8. I agree with the legs are a bit too short. Other than that, my heart sank when I saw this pic. It looks totally amazing. Love is most definitely in bloom ^^ Nice work!!
  9. Not bad. A lot of users can't even do that well. The line's are kind of rough, but you can definitely tell it's a pony. Good job on this ^^ It looks awesome.
  10. Not sure that I completely understand the question, but I'd go with mare because I don't care much for stallions. They don't really do much and aren't as awesome. The only stallions I like are Mac and Shining Armor. Pretty sure Alicorns can have babies, or I think they would anyway. If they can't then I feel bad alicorns. Just chalk up more reasons as to why they're the loneliest of the races.
  11. I was actually pretty open minded about the movie the entire time. I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed. It was an absolutely terrific movie. Obviously I like the pony versions more because that's what brought me into the series, but it was still pretty good. Glad to see you enjoyed it ^^
  12. I'd go with Violet Sky or Summer Orchid. It looks like Violet Sky is more popular. As for the cutie mark, I think a flower would do nicely. Not a rose though, that's already been taken by Primrose. If you go with Violet Sky you could use a violet. If you go with Summer Orchid you could use a red/orange orchid. Hope this helped ^^
  13. Just a little annotation, 'Loyalties' is misspelled in your signature. Not too important, just thought I'd let you know. I'm always interested in helping somepony out. What kind of help are you looking for? I personally think my writing/English skills are outstanding. On a college level placement test, all of my scores were 100+. I even recieved the comment from the proctor that she didn't get very many scores over one hundred. That is to say I only scored a 54 on the mathematics. (The max score on each test was 120.) Might be busy with college things here soon, but I'll still help if I'm able. If you'd like a preview of my style and capabilities, PM me and I'll type something up. ^^
  14. Lauren Faust has done the show wonders. Credit to the animators as well. I'm not saying you need school to teach you programming, it's just you need school to get a degree. Learning on your own is fine, but employers aren't going to hire someone who doesn't have a degree in the field they're looking for. It'd be nice to think they'd trust you on your word if you say you can handle the job, but they don't. I'm going for an associate of applied science in Computer Information Systems. That's a guaranteed job programming, be it web design or computer programming. Honestly, college only helps you to learn some of the stuff. You have to learn most of it yourself by studying.
  15. Yup yup. I agree with @Hansel on this one. In fact, as soon as I saw train I thought of this episode. Applejack telling a story solidified that feeling. There was also 'MMMystery On The Friendship Express' but that wasn't the one where Applejack tells a story.
