Well, I survived the first day. I'm pretty excited about the Computer Science class, though.

So you're an aeronautical engineer? I was thinking that as a career path. Is it exciting?

That would be a great choice. However, as a loyal Boilermaker, I would definitely encourage you to take a look at the national rankings for aero engineering schools. Purdue is #4, only behind schools like MIT, Georgia Tech, and UMich. Plus if you want to be recruited from real industry members, you can't beat it.
I've had one-on-one conversations with people who hire for companies like GE Aviation, and they list Purdue as one of a select few schools that they draw their hir...

YES! You may want to see my thread about engineers. It's buried somewhere in my content on my profile.
I'm actually in school for AAE (aeronautical and astronautical engineering) right now, and I'm concentrating in aeronautical. I love it so far. Hoping to land an internship with NASA or an aviation firm here soon.

I got my 11th grade schedule today, it's actually pretty much exactly what I wanted. They even put my AP Calculus AB class as 1st hour. And, that along with my AP Stats class are both before my study hall.

Interesting... Well I wish you the best of luck in your future medical endeavors!
Also, I totally hear you about engineering being a GPA killer. I was a 4.0 student in high school (we didn't have classes that could weight us any higher, else I might have been above 4.0), and came down to earth pretty hard my first semester. I'm pulling my weight a lot better now though!

@SCS, good to hear of people who actually enjoy non-liberal arts classes! I'm in college (entering sophomore year) and am in aeronautical engineering. Actually, just took linear algebra this summer, and have all technical classes to look forward to in the fall, including more math! HMU if you ever want to hear about it or have college questions in general! I won't stop talking
@Twilight Sparkle, have you considered biomedical engineering? Or is it available w...
