  1. So, are we going to go through the last two episodes of volume one, or skip those?
  2. Clayton stopped himself from falling over when he materialized in the and looked around to see Dawn and Luster not to far away. When the leader of the group gave her orders, he immediate felt wary of the situation. Maybe he was being too cautious, but splitting up when they had minimal training wasn’t exactly a good idea. With that in mind, he figured that it would be best to simpky follow orders and not get chewed out by what was essentially his CO. The unicorn then followed Dawn and kept an eye on his surroundings. “Mind if I ask what you can do in a fight? It’d be good to know the limits of our team.” He said in an attempt to start up a conversation.
  3. Yuki narrowed her eyes at Glynda’s first remark, not really knowing what to make of it. Why did these powers appear within her? The fox faunus then sighed as ahe pushed that thought to the back of her mind. At the moment, that wasn’t important. “Yeah, I guess that is a good thing.” She said, before deciding to answer the professor’s question. “As for the time I’ve had them, I’d say it’s been a week or two at this point, though I’m not sure.”
  4. Clayton watched the pony he once called a friend leave, before turning to look at Trixie. “Somepony should really talk to him, or at least try to.” He said. The unicorn then put his scythe on his back and looked at the ponies that had appeared. “Name’s Clayton, by the way. Figured it’d be good to get my introduction out of the way so we have one less thing to talk about on the way back.” Orion glanced at Gale and gave a slight smirk. “Scared?” He asked, laughing slightly at the dragoness. “If what the ponies say is true, then our enemy shouldn’t be here.” He said.
  5. Yuki watched as Draco was carted away, and felt her tail twitch slightly from nerves. Draco had shown very little emotion when it came to herself, Vince, or Ghalan. She could tell that he didn’t outright hate them, but was rather reserved in forming connections with his teammates. This, however, was a Draco that was more open with his emotions. “Please, don’t give up.” The fox faunus was then brought out of her thoughts by Glynda’s voice. When she got off the bullhead, she looked at the instructor as she followed her. “You make it sound like I did something wrong.” She said.
  6. Yuki looked at Draco and felt a pit form in her stomach. The last thing she wanted was to worry him, but she couldn’t exactly lie to her team leader either. “He’s not here. You two got in a fight, and Ms.Goodwitch couldn’t find him. We’re heading back to Beacon now.” The fox faunus spoke in a low whisper, hoping that Draco wouldn’t react to harshly to the news.
  7. Yuki sighed at the lack of a response from Ms.Goodwitch and moved to sit next to Draco. If she wasn’t going to get an answer, then she could at least help him heal. “I don’t know what exactly happened, but I’m not losing another teammate.” The fox faunus then used her semblance to transfer a portion of her own aura to Draco. When she finished, Yuki glanced out the window to see the trees rushing by below the belly of the aircraft they were on. Now that she could think about the events that had occurred without the fear of death, it didn’t really make sense. Sure grimm were attracted to negative emotions, but she doubted their teacher would bring thing into an area that might get them killed. “Was all that planned?” She thought to herself.
  8. Clayton looked down to see that he was in fact wearing his ranger suit. The unicorn hadn’t even noticed that whatever had given him his role had automatically put it on. The suit itself was somewhat form-fitting, yet still comfortable, and he assumed the heads-up display was functioning properly. “It’s certainly different, but in a good way.” He said, not really sure how to respond. After he made the suit disappear, he began to think about the robots they would be piloting, specially Lektra’s. “As for the repairs needed to a giant robot, I’ll see what I can do. It’d probably help if I had the schematics, though.” Clayton then gave a light shrug.
  9. It didn’t take long for Yuki to notice the current condition of her team leader or the lack of the wolf faunus they both called a teammate. Did their team leader kill them? The fox faunus then pushed those thoughts to the side as she forced the arrow to dissipate. Ghalan was capable of taking care of himself, so he’d most likely make his way back to Beacon after he regained his senses. For now, she had another teammate to worry about. “Is he going to be ok?” She asked, glancing at Draco.
  10. @dragon4111@silvermoon15000@rolle Yuki glanced at Rei, before shrugging. “Something attacked. That much I know” She said. Of course, it would’ve have been worse had Ghalan not set up traps earlier on in the trip. How he had done so in such a short amount of time was unknown to her, but she figured that it’d be best not to ask. “At the very least, we made it out alive.” Now it was only a question on whether or not Draco and Ghalan killed each other. Was it her fault that they fought. The fox faunus then shifted her lance to its bow configuration and prepped a shot for launch.
  11. @Lektra Bolt Clayton shrugged as he was given his zord. As for his ranger color, he didn't really care. If they were going to work as a team, then they would all probably be needed if this was to even work. That being said, he figured that might as well try to lighten the mood. "Looks like the tech has a thing for the more... destructive creatures of our world." He said. The only question is, why would they all receive a different vehicle. Putting that to the back of his mind for now, the unicorn decided to answer Lektra's daughter. "If not us, then who? I doubt that many ponies would be eager to be put into a life threatening situation just to say that they were able to save the world. As for me personally, I'm a smith by trade. If you give me any material, there's a good chance I can make it into something somepony somewhere can use. As a result, I have a bit of combat experience and a few enchantments that go along with those items." Clayton didn't mention that he was also an artist, but that wasn't really something they needed to know. "As for anything I want to know from you two in particular, no. I don't think I have anything to ask."
  12. Yuki silently fumed as she listened to Glynda. How did she even know what was going on with her? Did she and Ozpin have something to do with her newly developed abilities? The fox faunus then shoved those thoughts to the back of her mind.It wouldn't do any good to worry now, not when two members of her team were fighting each other. If it weren’t for the fact that the half of team ESER was there, she probably would’ve followed Ms.Goodwitch. “Doesn’t mean I have to like it.” She muttered under her breath, placing a hand on her weapon.
  13. The last memory Yuki viewed was the death of ‘herself’. She had to remember that none of the memories she had seen were her own, but even then there was still a chance that her mental state would be effected by the images she had seen. As for the cause of death, it wasn’t exactly pleasant. From what the fox faunus could tell, a sword had been driven through ‘her’ abdomen twice, once through her stomach and liver respectively, as she looked at a picture of... herself. It had been the picture she had submitted on the application form for Beacon over the summer, meaning that someone who wasn’t at the school had access to Beacon’s records. Her vision was then encompassed by darkness. As control over her body and original mind returned, Yuki’s eyes shot open, and she immediately sat up. “What just happened?” She thought, falling out of Glynda’s grip. The fox faunus then noticed that two of the members of Team ESER, along with Ms.Goodwitch, and tried to stand. “Where are Draco and Ghalan?”
  14. @silvermoon15000@rolle@Acnologia@dragon4111 As Yuki was carried away, her body shifted slightly as she appeared in what one could only describe as a white room within her subconcious. In this room, centuries of memories played out before her. Hundred of images, all being processed through her mind were either deleted or stored for future use. Of these memories, two individuals became very prominent, but she could tell that they weren't her just from the angle and which they were viewed. The first was a women wearing black robes with white hair done in a style one would expect of an aristocrat, standing behind an army of grimm and her own followers that would make most huntsmen flee. Red veins could be seen on her face and arms, along with red eyes that held black sclera that felt as if they were studying her and piercing into her very soul at the same time. Cities burned and people died wherever she went. It got to the point were Yuki was struggling just to move on to the next memory whever that woman appeared, a testament to the fear she felt just by looking at her. As for the other figure, she had some idea as to who he was. It was the same individual that she and the others had seen the moment they had opened Draco's private journal. It was the dragon faunus she assumed was the father of the leader of Team DARC. He and the other three individuals that they had seen in the picture were on an island that was essentially a large, thick spire that pierced the clouds. It was here where they lived and trained, far from any civilization and possibly even grimm. She could tell that there a close connection between each member of the group, as the images moved by. "How recent are all of these?" She thought to herself. The fox faunus knew that some memories were older than others, but she had no idea when they had actually taken place. Some were easier to guess than others, but even those probably weren't very accurate. Now she just had to learn how the people these memories originated with were related.
  15. @Drago Ryder@rolle@silvermoon15000@dragon4111 Yuki's eyes widened when she felt an ntense heat rush past her. Turning to look, she could see the carnage that Ghalan had wrought and didn't know how to respond. On one hand, it only reaffirmed her idea that she was the weakest of the three members of Team DARC, and on the other, she was afraid not for herself, but her partner. A chill then ran down the fox faunus's spine as her breath materialized in front of her. "What is..." Before she could respond, a intense cold was dispelled from her body, coating everythng in a five foot radius in frost and instantly freezing anything that moved. As for her, she fell into unconciousness.
  16. @rolle@dragon4111@silvermoon15000 Yuki looked at Drago and felt a pit form in her stomach. She wanted to call out to him, to say something that would stop him from fighting alone and getting himself killed, but what could she do? The fox faunus had no weapon of her own, her partner was injured, and there was no telling when the other grimm would turn their sights on her. It didn't take long for her to realize that there was some connection between the grimm and her team leader, something that she would ask him about later. Thankfully, her aura sped up the rate at whcih she healed, so she was able to stand with minimal pain. Yuki then slowly made her way to Ghalan, picking up her lance along the way. "Please tell me he's ok." She thought as she moved towards the wolf faunus. If he was, then they'd probably help their team leader fight his demons.
  17. Kyubi continued to play her instrument, not paying attention to the dragons surrounding her. The thing was that most, if not all the music she played was of her own creation. It wasn't like she could look at and learn specific pieces anyway. The ocarina wasn't exactly a common instrument, so she had to adapt in order to survive. Orion gave a low growl as he came out of he cloud bank, and simply entered a slow glide. He could see thousands of miles in every direction, and felt a feeling of of pride well up in his chest. The dragon then tucked his wings in, closed his eyes, and simply fell as gravity took ahold of his body. "The ponies might rule the land, but dragons are kings and queens of the skies." He thought, smiling as he felt adrenaline rush through his body. Clayton could see Tempest and sighed. He might've been a friend of the bat pony, but the latter had cut off any and all other connections after he had lost those closest to him. "It's been a long time, hasn't it my friend." He said, revealing himself. The unicorn knew that he had to tread carefully, but things weren't exactly favorable for any pony at the moment.
  18. @Whirlwindmark Orion smiled as he flew through the air above what had once been Ponyville. He wore no armor, finding it to heavy to maintain a decent flight speed and a hinderence when it came to using the lightning/electricity that coursed through his body. It also served as an intimdation tactic for anyone he fought. If he wore no armor and was never hit, then rumors would most likely spread of an invincible dragon that could defeat any who stood in his way. Considering his role within the empire he served, that could only help him. As for why he was flying through the air, something about being a few thousand feet in the air and looking out over the horizion helped him to relax. Looking down, he could see hatchlings playing in the street and other adults going about their business. "Stay on the ground for all I care. Me, the storms and sky above you are my domains." He thought, laughing mentally as he pulled up and flew through a cloud bank. On the corner of some street within the town of Dragonville, Kyubi played a song on her ocarina to entertain anyone who happened to pass by. If one were to look closely, the movement of her covered eyes could be seen whenever a not changed. One might suspect that she was sleeping while playing an intricate melody, rather then what the truth was. The bat pony was as blind as the creatures her wings were derived from, and the movement of her eyes was her way of taking in the environment as sound moved through the area. Clayton gritted his teeth as he banged away at one of the many weapons he was making for the Everfreedom Fighters. He was a smith by trade, and considering the lack of those within the resistance group, he figured that he might as well join up with them. Finishing up with his current project, the earth pony wiped the sweat from his brow and exited the building that had been a makeshift forge, headining directly for the forest . He needed to talk to an old friend, even if it would end in possible injury for him.
  19. @Lektra Bolt Clayton gave a soft laugh as he face hooved. "This is just weird, but I guess I should be used to that sort of thing by now. He muttered, before taking a cookie and biting into it. "Granted, I'm not exactly brimming with magic, am I?" The earth pony then finished the snack before narrowing his eyes. Something felt off about all of this, but he tried not to think about it to hard at the moment. If anything, it'd raise too many questions on his loyalty at a time where all of Equestria was about to fall. It was do or die at this point, and he was sure as Tartarus going down kicking and screaming bloody murder. "Either way, I'm in." Clayton then placed his hoof into the morphing grid and waited for something of interest to happen.
  20. @silvermoon15000@dragon4111@rolle@Drago Ryder Yuki was surprised to feel something softer, yet just as unyielding as the ground break her fall, or at least slow her down to the point where she didn't get hurt more than she already was. When she opened her eyes, the first things she saw were the blood red pupils of her team leader's, causing a light blush to spread across her cheeks. "Draco, what's going on?" The fox faunus then remebered the grimm and moved to get up, but stopped once the pain in her chest flared. "That thing hit like a freaking truck. What do we do?"
  21. @Drago Ryder@silvermoon15000@rolle@dragon4111 Yuki winced as she felt a few ribs crack from the force of the impact of the grimm's fist, but that was nothing her aura couldn't heal in time. "Wait, did that thing talk?" She thought. The fox faunus hadn't even noticed that the grimm could replicate human speech until a few seconds after the fact, and she was mildly surprised now that she thought about it. That being said, she noticed that her body was making its descent back to the ground and braced for whatever impact might come and closed her eyes.
  22. @dragon4111@Drago Ryder@silvermoon15000@rolle Yuki turned to look at the grimm that had entered the clearing, and could tell that it had seen its fair share of combat, meaning that it had been around for a considerable amount of time. She knew that escape wasn't possible, so she would have to fight the monster in front of her. "I won't fail. I will be strong for my team, and myself. Even with Draco's training, Yuki could tell that she was the weakest link in terms of strength and raw power when it came to the remaining three members of Team DARC, but she didn't want it to be like that anymore. She wanted to prove herself, not to be coddled like some child. The fox faunus then fired multiple arrows from her bow, before shifting her weapon into a lance and charging forwards. If the projectiles didn't strike, then she would while her opponent was distracted.
  23. @dragon4111@rolle@Drago Ryder@silvermoon15000 Yuki winced as she heard the roar and watched Ghalan leave. "Looks like he has a plan." She thought, before grabbing her weapon and the now filled container of sap. The fox faunus knew that the wolf could handle himself in a fight, if the sound of chaos that followed his departure was anything to go off of, so she figured it'd be best to try and take out as many as she could, while trying to meet up with her team leader. The fox faunus then had an idea, and shifted her weapon into its bow configuration. A few seconds later, a blue arrow made of aura could be seen piercing the air, exploding into a fireball when it had gotten to a decent altitude and acting as a makeshift flare to tell the other students in the forest where she was.
  24. @Lektra Bolt@Drago Ryder@Denim&Venom Claytoh sighed as he watched te others talk. He hadn't exactly been expecting much to happen when he had filed all the paper work to help a group with whatever they needed, but apparently he had been mistaken. Of course, it didn't help that they were in a bad spot. The earth pony then thought about what had been said over the course of his arrivial, It could be possible, but the intake of resources needed would put a strain on what little possibly remained. "It'd also help if we had a but more information on what we're fighting here." He said.
