Hey, I need some math help with a question like this: "Evaluate Sine of pi/4 without a calculator." Please help, I am almost never this lost in math o_o

You would need to use a special right triangle along with the definition of sine in terms of right triangles. Sine represents opposite divided by hypotenuse. You would use the pi/4 pi/4 pi/5 (45-45-90) right triangle. Adjacent and opposite are 1, hypotenuse is sqrt(2). So, sin(pi/4)=1/sqrt(2). That can also be written as sin(pi/4)=sqrt(2)/2.
