      It only trolls you if you picked Cyndaquil. Being a Chikorita user, I can usually beat the Miltank without too much trouble.

      How was it easier with Chikorita? I've gone through the whole game with all three starters and it still gave me a hard time. The cheap tactic I'd use as a kid was teaching my Croconaw Dig so it'd make Rollout miss.

      Though before that we had to use the much-less-reliable Cross Chop or Dynamicpunch.
