And feeling emotion over somthing you see over the internet is not negative, but it is rather negative to be deriding others form of escapism, while getting angry that their form of escapism exists with no negative effects towards you.

      @Moonbacon I have read quite a few clopfics that weren't self inserts, but I won't deny there are quite a few of them that are especially human on pony stories. I think it is simple, a lot of people like the characters and the universe and want to escape to it and of course a little is understandable so long as it not taken to an unhealthy level.
