      I try to avoid it. 

      It's a bit hypocritical to buy a bunch of stuff less than a day after you were being thankful for what you got. So I keep it to essentials. Getting food. Maybe getting things that need replacing. But a bunch of frivolities for myself? Gifts for others? Those can wait.

      Sadly, they aren't mine (yet). 

      The first is my moms, Chaya. Deaf cat stuck two years at the shelter after her owners passing. But now has a forever home. Favorite of the staff apparently. Apperently quite the cuddler. 

      The other two are Oliver, a 20lbs docile beast. And Karuba, the most hyper little tabby I've ever seen. Both now belong to my brother. 

      Glad the two of them finally have some company.
